Position Summary:
The Immersive Experiences Platform seeks to harness the transformative power of immersive experiences to create an intuitive and seamless journey that empowers Nestlé to explore innovative marketing channels and redefine ways of working, ultimately driving sales, success and leadership in the market. These technologies include augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), social gaming, and other immersive technologies.
The Immersive Experiences Product Team defines, designs, develops, and operates a unified platform for all Nestlé markets and brands, accelerating time to market and optimising costs for new immersive initiatives. The platform is designed to reduce manual and repetitive tasks, increase speed, and optimise time to market for deployment of immersive experiences, while seamlessly integrating with other Marketing, Sales, and eBusiness (MSE) products. Additionally, it aims to create an end-to-end secure and compliant self-service process for requesting, managing, and deploying immersive experiences at Nestlé, addressing the most pressing needs in both B2C and B2B sectors.
The Immersive Experiences Product Team is currently seeking a Technical Product Owner.
What you’ll do
As a Technical Product Owner of Nestlé’s Immersive Experiences Platform, you will contribute to the definition, roadmap, development, and deployment of its components. Your responsibilities include managing the end-to-end development process to ensure alignment with APIs, specifications, quality standards, security requirements, and targets for cost, and scheduling. You will identify and analyze risk management issues, and devise plans to minimize risks. You will liaise with different teams (internal and external) to ensure proper integration of the platform within the overall Nestlé ecosystem. For this reason, it’s important that you build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers and communicate effectively.
Key responsibilities
- Together with Business Analysts, the Product Manager and the Architect, define Immersive Experiences Platform components, their roadmap, APIs and overall technical strategy.
- Act as a liaison between product owners,solution architects and developers, detailing technical specifications of each requirement.
- Manage and track the day-to-day activities of cross-functional platform development teams (internal and external), facilitate their coordination and ensures the adherence to the plans.
- Provide appropriate technical expertise, documentation, roadmaps and strategic directions from a cross-platform perspective.
- Operational Support: Along with operational team, lead technical resolution including bug fixing & incident management.
- Lead the development, testing, and deployment of platform components according to best practices and Nestlé standards, prioritise and manage the development backlog in alignment with product owner and technical architect requirements, manage specific initiatives including asset, time, and internal/external resource assignment. Be ready to support in code reviewing if necessary.

Minimum qualifications:
- Minimum of 7 years industry experience in software delivery projects and consulting for Business-facing applications, Consumer-facing apps and/or Platform APIs
- Expertise & continuous exploration of immersive experiences technologies & platforms: Augmented reality, virtual reality, social gaming, gaming, social media, etc.
- Verifiable track record in the delivery of IT/Digital solutions on Cloud Service Providers such as Azure, AWS or GCP.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools and processes.
- Experienced in working with agile methodologies and solution delivery at scale
- Can-do attitude: Collaborative & Positive mindset, facilitates communication within Nestlé stakeholders, including organizing workshops, webinars, and attending conferences.
