We are looking for a Technology Specialist - Robotic Process Automation to join our IT Workforce 360 stream in Barcelona

The Role:
Are you passionate about Robotic Process Automation and exciting new technologies being used in hyper automation environment?  This position will work with the Product team globally and bring deep expertise and knowledge with the Blue Prism RPA product as well as other applications within hyper automation space.  Working at the leading edge of IT for the product or platform, the Technology Expert performs preliminary studies, helping to set the technological direction with the product or platform manager

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Collaborate with the Business Solution Automation Product Manager and Solution Architect.
  • Provide specialized guidance and support in the implementation of Blue Prism, advising on optimal technology solutions and translating business visions into technical frameworks.
  • Participate in the development and review of standards, documentation, and methodologies within your area of expertise.
  • Conduct preliminary studies, as well as develop general and detailed systems specifications.
  • Evaluate a wide range of options and apply sound judgment to create solutions within your specific specialization.
  • Ensure operational readiness of solutions by defining global procedures and processes for operations in your area of expertise.
  • Maintain accountability for delivering and securing all solutions within your technology area, ensuring compliance with internal standards and external regulations, including privacy requirements.
  • Assist colleagues in resolving complex technical issues, investigate root causes, and recommend SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic, Timely) solutions.
  • Engage in peer reviews of deliverables and conduct both formal and informal assessments of technical designs, standards, documentation, and implementations.

What Will Make You a Great Fit:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Analysis, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • A minimum of five years of experience with Blue Prism, including both development and platform maintenance.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading technical evaluations for new RPA capabilities, such as Optical Character Recognition (OCR) and intelligent orchestration.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to the RPA platform, including servers, databases, and virtual machines (VMs).
  • Preferably certified in relevant technical fields, such as Professional Developer or Technical Architect.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at various levels within the organization and proficiency in English.
  • Experience working in a global environment and collaborating with virtual teams.
