Position Summary

 

In order to complete our IT Platforms Department, we are currently looking for a Technology Specialist in ServiceNow Platform and data management

 

You will provide knowledge, technical consultancy and advisory within ServiceNow Platform team and you will actively participate in the development and promotion ServiceNow as a tool of choice inside Nestle. Your responsibilities include also to be accountable for supervising the realization of specific deliverables in relation to IT development and to lead the technical activity within your area of specialism. 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Support the Platform Manager and Business Relationship Manager in the development of the strategy through incremental improvement of the platform offering
  • Understand business process needs and design the flows and solutions in ServiceNow based on Platform and Enterprise best practices
  • Provide specialist consultancy and support for ServiceNow Platform administration (incl. master data, task automation, UI, reporting, platform usage, license management and Platform improvement opportunities)
  • Plan and coordinate platform upgrades and patches, including coordination of testing
  • Create and/or Support the creation of training materials for the processes in scope (SOPs, Standard routines, video-teasers and Guided tours)
  • Deliver training using a train-the-trainer approach as required 
  • Support the analysis and resolution of solution issues as part of the second and third level
  • Identify gaps in existing functionalities, options for improvement and opportunities for process automation
  • Responsible for identifying security & compliance requirements, including roles, associated with in scope process and ensure they are considered in the solution design
  • Work with business partners to conduct/Support paper-based design, POCs, solutioning sessions, and MVP taste-testing all along the life cycle from business demand to value delivery
Are you a fit?

 

  • Bachelor's degree in business, information systems or related discipline, or equivalent;
  • 2+ years of relevant experience as ServiceNow Admin
  • Proven knowledge of Best practices for ServiceNow Platform upgrades.
  • Project management experience is a plus
  • Knowledge in other areas of ServiceNow is a plus
  • Experience working in an Agile/DevOps environment using design thinking methodology
  • Strong knowledge and experience with problem resolution methodologies 
  • Strong understanding information risk, security guidelines and architecture standards
  • Excellent understanding of business complexity and interdependencies
  • Experience with effective communication at different levels in the organization
  • Experience working in a global environment and with virtual teams
  • Excellent level of English, both written and spoken
