We are looking for a UI Developer to be part of our Nestlé Nespresso Digital and Tech Team.

The Role
The UI Developer plays a key role in crafting visually stunning and interactive user interfaces that engage and delight users. You’ll bring motion graphics to life, stay ahead of the latest UI/UX design trends, and ensure a seamless experience across all devices and browsers. Your work will also uphold WCAG-AA accessibility standards and contribute to the ongoing evolution of Nespresso's cutting-edge Design System.
As an eCommerce UI Developer, you'll collaborate with Front-end Developers, Architects, the Design System squad, and the Team Lead to define and refine UI guidelines, tools, and solutions. You’ll lead the charge in delivering innovative, commercially-driven digital experiences, ensuring everything aligns with technical standards, strategic goals, and brand vision. You’ll be at the forefront of shaping the digital future, empowering other developers while ensuring a cohesive and impactful user experience.
In This Role, You Will:
- Developing fully responsive, WCAG-compliant web components and landing pages, adhering to our design system, brand, technical, and commercial guidelines.
- Influencing the design process to align technical and business goals while ensuring timely execution.
- Mentoring team members on our architectural landscape, best practices, and procedures.
- Overseeing project delivery to maintain quality, align with brand and technical standards, and meet deadlines.
- Managing priorities and trade-offs between customer experience, time-to-market, and resources.
- Resolving bottlenecks, anticipating challenges, and making balanced decisions under constraints.
- Mastering our Design System, including the dependencies between components.
- Proposing improvements to practices, guidelines, and adopting modern technologies and approaches.
- Supporting product owners, designers, and stakeholders in product development.
What We’re Looking For:
- 5+ years’ experience in eBusiness, eCommerce, or digital agencies.
- Strong technical background in UX/UI design with expertise in cross-device support, cross-browser issues, and usability best practices.
- Advanced HTML, CSS (SASS/SCSS, mixins, variables), and JavaScript skills, with a focus on web standards, semantic coding, and accessibility (WCAG AA).
- Proficiency in React for building user interfaces, including advanced JavaScript knowledge and browser APIs.
- Experience with motion graphics and animation tools/libraries such as GSAP, Lottie, and frontend frameworks.
- Familiarity with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest/Vitest) and tools like JIRA, Confluence, and Bitbucket (Git).
- Effective communicator in English (written and spoken), with strong teamwork skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Proven ability to mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance.
- Experience in Agile development environments, contributing to ceremonies and delivering high-quality solutions.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a passion for staying current with UI/UX trends and technologies.

- Familiarity with Figma and Storybook for design collaboration and component documentation.
- Knowledge of digital innovation trends and their application to web technologies.
