The role
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Performance and Excellence Manager to drive the Veterinary commercial performance and excellence capability program. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, executing, and measuring a standardized and scalable commercial execution framework.
Your primary objective will be to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the Vet Field Force operating model, ensuring alignment with market needs and expectations. By implementing initiatives to improve execution and competitiveness, you will contribute to the overall success of our organization.
What you’ll do
• Develop and deliver the Commercial Excellence Strategy Framework to ensure the best customer experience for healthcare professionals and drive superior Vet Field Force execution.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in vet commercial processes, tools, and strategies. Implement and monitor initiatives to drive sales excellence and achieve business goals.
• Establish metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the performance of commercial initiatives. Provide regular insights and guidance on best practices across Europe to drive efficiency in commercial investments.
• Collaborate with the Vet Business Performance Analyst to support the adoption and effective use of Veeva CRM for better business analytics.
• Design and implement an incentive scheme and payout calculation strategies to motivate and reward the Vet Field Force.
• Develop and manage training strategies, tools, and operational support to enhance the sales team's skills, knowledge, and capabilities. Support markets in building capabilities of their Vet Field Force for performance development and in-clinic visit effectiveness.
• Optimize the implementation of the PSP (Professional Sales Program) training programs and establish Strategic Account Management (SAM) to enhance the impact of our field force with strategic, high-potential accounts.
• Ensure the development of competencies that align with current and future company needs. Support the onboarding of new associates within the organization.

Minimum qualifications:
• Minimum of 5 years of sales, marketing, or relevant commercial or analytical experience, preferably in the Vet/Specialist pet food or healthcare industry.
• Experience in defining and implementing commercial excellence initiatives and business analytics.
• Proficiency in using CRM systems and other sales-related technologies (Salesforce/Veeva). Knowledge of MS Power BI is a plus.
• Strong training, presentation, and project management skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal).
• Proactive, self-managed, with a high level of ownership and accountability.
• Successful experience in working with cross-functional teams.
Bonus points if you:
• Knowledge of Nestlé Corporate/Functional/Market/Business/Organizational structure.
• Familiarity with ProPlan Brand and PRO PLAN Veterinary Diets products.
