We are looking for an eCommerce IT Project Manager Digital Touchpoints to be part of our Nestlé Nespresso Digital and Tech Team.

The role

With an exclusive focus on the Nespresso business, you will be working in the core business of Digital Touchpoints of Nespresso, in a team supporting the design of the new ecommerce technology stack supporting the business. 

As an IT Project Manager at Nespresso, you will manage the development or deployment of IT projects, ensuring it delivers the expected value to the Business partner, on time, on budget, on scope and on quality. Adhering to established Project Management methodologies and maintaining a constant communication and alignment with stakeholders at global and local level on shared solutions, you will, structure the project plan and budget, execute, manage risks, monitor and control, and finally close it, ensuring quality and integrity of the information. 

As part of the Digital Touchpoints team, you will collaborate with Technology Leads and Solution Architects in the fields of eCommerce, Retail technologies, Customer Service and Trade applications. You will further support the operational management of the portfolio of Digital Touchpoints. 

Your facilitation and interpersonal skills, planning and organization savviness, and the clarity of your communication will be fundamental to the success of the team. 

               

 

What you’ll do

  • Collaborate internally providing expertise, context, and direction to ensure the best practices of project management are consistently applied for all the projects of the team.

  • Create structured projects, implementing IT agile project methodologies, develop the project scope, execution plan and budget within agreed value and spending plans. Also ensuring all projects are consistent with overall IT customer objectives and strategic plans.    

  • Work on the resource allocation for the project by interacting with IT Resource Managers and Product Managers to ensure the staff with the required skills are available to execute the project.

  • Manage project sponsors and stakeholders ensuring their commitment, engagement and alignment with project objective and deliverables by keeping a constant communication and establishing an effective steerco meeting for executive status and decisions making.

  • Monitor and control the project and its assigned budget on the day-to-day activities of cross-functional project teams ensuring the adherence to the project plan, scope, budget and effectively managing scope changes when necessary.  

  • Keep the project team focused by defining a clear task prioritization, responsibilities and monitoring among the diverse resources of the project. Ensuring the dependencies are visible and appropriate actions are taken to deliver it by the agreed deadline or to re-plan it.  

  • Continuous learning, keeps up to date with latest methodology in relation with IT communities and keeps up to date with the Nespresso PMO community, ensuring the awareness and the application of changes on Nespresso PMO processes, and/or IT strategy.

Minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information systems, business administration or related field, or equivalent work experience.

  • 5+ years of experience as Project Manager in IT and business/industry and 3-5 years on roles with increasing leadership responsibilities.

  • Experience working in a global environment and with virtual teams.

  • Experience working in Agile project management.

  • Experience with effective communication at different levels in the organization, interpersonal skills, and stakeholder management abilities.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills in English. 

 

 

Bonus points if you

  • Experience working on initiatives related to Business Processes and solutions for B2C businesses on systems such as ERP, POS or e-Commerce.

  • Active participation in Project Management Communities of Practice.

  • Certifications on Project Management and Agile Methodologies
