A DAY IN THE LIFE …

  • Lead end-to-end factory logistics operations covering raw and packaging materials, semi-finished products, finished goods, and inbound and outbound transportation.
  • Drive logistics safety with the ambition of achieving zero accidents across both in-house and outsourced operations.
  • Ensure the effective flow of materials from the factory inbound gate to production lines, manage internal work-in-progress movements, and oversee the flow of finished goods to the outbound gate.
  • Monitor warehouse service, safety, health, environmental, quality, and cost performance through operational indicators and daily performance reviews.
  • Coordinate closely with Factory, Technical, Supply Chain, Procurement, T-HUB, suppliers, customs, and transportation providers to ensure smooth and on-time execution.
  • Maintain high service levels and support adherence to the production plan while minimizing factory downtime caused by logistics activities.
  • Ensure factory logistics and transportation activities comply with operational standards, regulatory requirements, and Nestlé operating manuals.
  • Drive continuous improvement, cost optimization, digitalization, connected logistics, and warehouse automation initiatives in line with the factory strategy.
  • Manage warehouse manpower, logistics resources, budgets, service providers, and operating costs to deliver sustainable business results.
  • Recruit, coach, and develop Factory Supply Chain employees while supporting career development and succession planning.

 

ARE YOU A FIT?

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in warehouse operations, factory logistics, transportation, or supply chain, with experience as a Shift Supervisor or Team Leader.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse management, materials fulfillment, inbound and outbound logistics, and transportation operations.
  • Practical understanding of production scheduling, inventory management, stock policies, working capital, and product freshness.
  • Experience managing warehouse manpower, including material handling equipment drivers, outsourced operations, and logistics service providers.
  • Knowledge of warehouse automation, racking systems, picking, material handling, staging, digitalization, and connected logistics.
  • Good understanding of logistics and warehousing costs, budget management, cost drivers, and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Knowledge of Lean principles, value stream processes, safety, health, environmental and quality standards, and sustainability practices.
  • Strong people-management skills with the ability to coach, train, and develop warehouse and logistics teams.
  • Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder-management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Working knowledge of information systems such as GLOBE, logistics compliance requirements, and the end-to-end Source-to-Pay process would be an advantage.
  • Good command of the local language and the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
