Position Summary

 

You will partner with the Factory Manager to represent your location to internal associates, our broader company, and the local community while leading the factory to maintain high performance in alignment with the business. Utilizing strong problem-solving skills, you will identify and address operational challenges, while effectively communicating and collaborating with other Purina teams. Managing relationships with stakeholders and facilitating clear and efficient communication within the factory will also be part of your responsibilities. Please note that future relocation will be required for this role, as it aims to develop your leadership skills for continued growth.

 

  • Participate in strategic operational oversight, leading the factory team to achieve objectives in safety, quality, cost, and service level commitments.
  • Ensure compliance with company principles, policies, local laws, and regulations, including health, food safety, and regulatory requirements.
  • Analyze production data and make data-driven decisions to optimize factory operations.
  • Develop and mentor the factory management team and staff, focusing on performance management, career development, and succession planning.
  • Foster positive employee and labor relations, prioritizing a People First approach.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with the surrounding community, leveraging the Corporate Community Affairs group.
  • Implement Nestle Continuous Excellence (NCE) and Total Performance Management (TPM) principles to drive continuous improvement throughout the factory.

 

*Must be open to future relocation to 1 of our 23 factory locations* 

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution is required.
  • 7+ years of management experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
  • 3+ years of experience working with factory budgets is required.

 

Other

  • Experience with Total Performance Management (TPM) or Lean Management Principles is preferred.
  • Technical bachelor's degree is preferred.

 

The approximate pay range for this position is $136,000 to $190,000 annually. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
