Position Summary

 

As an Associate Technician Factory Quality, you will be responsible for maintaining the quality standards in the development of cat and dog food product. You will also perform audits to ensure the highest quality and certify that food safety requirements are being met. You will be the eyes and ears on quality assurance on the production floor and will collaborate with maintenance, safety, and production teams.
 


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Performing QMS checks on production floor and completing required paperwork/ RedZone checks, including investigation of non-compliance.
  • Interpret data and evaluate trends.
  • Drive First Time Quality (FTQ) and other quality initiatives.
  • Maintain Hold and Incident databases.
  • Update SOP’s, QMS, Reference documents, etc.
  • Supports the NCE (Nestlé Continuous Excellence) process, TPM and the North America Blueprint for Success.

 


Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1+ years of experience working in quality assurance or materials ingredients in a manufacturing, production, military, or related environment required.
