Position Summary
At 7,000 ft. and surrounded by the San Francisco Peaks, is our factory in Flagstaff. We manufacture 1,000 tons of dry dog and cat food per day, which are part of a strong portfolio of leading brands. 70,000 square-feet of solar panels on the rooftop of this facility draws nearly 12 million kilowatt hours of clean, emission-free solar electricity over its lifetime. Our team works relentlessly to eliminate the need to take unused raw materials, finished product and packaging to the landfill.
As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will direct the actions of warehouse team members who perform receiving, storage, and shipping functions in support of plant production operations. You will ensure warehouse operations are safe, sanitary, efficient, and cost effective. You will mentor staff, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure operating and safety standards are met.
- Motivate and empower warehouse personnel to achieve budgeted productivity goals and costs for the factory.
- Maintain positive relationships with vendors and customers as well as strong cross-functional partnerships with factory colleagues and our St. Louis headquarters.
- Supervise and direct Warehouse activities to maintain a level of sanitation, safety, and housekeeping consistent with all Purina and FDA requirements.
- Ensure new warehouse employees are properly trained and current employees receive additional training as needed.
- Ensure regular maintenance is conducted on all equipment and provide adequate training and controls for equipment operators that maximizes equipment life.
- Facilitate the scheduling process of orders for loading to ensure established levels of service reliability and efficiency.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- 2+ years’ leadership experience in a warehouse, transportation, manufacturing, military, or related environment.
The approximate annual pay for this position is $64,000 - $93,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location of the position.
