Position Summary

 

As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will manage, lead, and coordinate activities of your team to maximize performance, minimize costs, maintain quality, and endorse safety and operating standards. You will also be responsible for coaching, training and developing your team members all while maintaining daily maintenance projects, preventative maintenance, and repair work. You will coordinate work assignments, special projects and emergency repairs for all departments within the factory and you will also lead your team to achieve continuous improvement and or Total Production Maintenance (TPM) initiatives. 

 

Must be available for evening shift - 7PM to 7AM

 

  • Coordinate installation and maintenance of equipment in the most efficient manner and ensure safety, corrective and preventative maintenance work orders are completed in a timely manner.
  • Schedule maintenance projects and tasks in collaboration with production and engineering departments.
  • Selects, supervises and monitors performance of vendors, contractors and related service contracts. 
  • Ensure that all members of the maintenance department are properly trained in safety procedures.
  • Provide guidance and coaching, employee scheduling, evaluation and development for team members and assigns daily work tasks to team members and monitors task accomplishment.
  • Ensures team members have the proper tools, supplies, and equipment needed for successful task completion.
  • Recommend strategies for efficient operation of maintenance department, including implementation of projects and budget modifications.
  • Participate in the preparation and administration of assigned program budget, submit budget recommendations, and monitor expenditures. 
  • Knowledgeable in OSHA/NEC/NFPA requirements and assures that the plant site and equipment meet the requirements and adheres to and enforces Nestle Purina Safety, Health and Environmental guidelines.

 

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • 3+ years of maintenance experience in a production, manufacturing, technical, military or related environment
  • 2+ Supervisory/Leadership experience is preferred

 

The approximate pay range for this position is $72,000 - $106,000 annually. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting.
