International Key Account Manager (m/w/divers)

Department: International Key Account Management

A day in the life of...

  • You are part of an international team of Key Account Managers reporting to a Key Account Director and you are responsible for developing the business with LIDL/ALDI in 25 countries
  • You are responsible to negotiate annual conditional agreements with ALDI/Lidl International buyers in categories you are in charge - in close coordination with markets and categories, you continuously analyze KPIs and derive strategy and actions to achieve sales and profit targets
  • You share "best practice" cases with the National Key Account Teams and work closely with other functions (e.g. Marketing or Supply Chain)
  • You are catalyzing internal alignment across markets, categories at European level and the international customer team. You deal with national and European decision makers in sales and category development

What will make you successful

  • Successful completion of a degree in economics or marketing
  • Experience in FMCG Key Account Management, being involved in direct annual agreement negotiations is a must
  • Experience in managing International retailers is a must, with discounters is an advantage
  • Excellent analytical skills and proactive/challenging mindset, great team worker with strong orientation towards results/problem solving
  • Experience in managing international high level stakeholders is preferable
  • Highly proficient English in spoken and written, additional German is a plus
  • Advanced Excel and Powerpoint knowledge
  • Courage and resistance in customer negotiation is a pre-requisite. We are looking for colleagues with “can do” attitude
  • Readiness to move to Frankfurt am Main area and work with a German working contract (no relocation/expat package)
