As a VMHS International Supply Planner (Master Production Scheduling / Supply Network Planning), you will be responsible for analyzing net dispatch requirements, preparing supply and deployment plans, and optimizing mixed loads to meet customer demand. You will balance product availability with inventory costs, establish stock policies, and communicate supply issues. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

A day in the life of a VMHS International Supply Planner (MPS/SNP)

 

  • Analyze net dispatch requirements and prepare supply and deployment plans to meet customer demand.
  • Provide visibility to transportation, logistics, and procurement teams for medium/long term horizons.
  • Ensure smooth implementation of promotional activities and new product launches.
  • Plan and optimize mixed loads, considering transportation constraints.
  • Balance product availability with inventory and transportation costs.
  • Establish and revise stock policies for finished goods.
  • Communicate supply issues and provide alternative supply scenarios.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Establish an 18-month production plan for factories, including sub-contracting and co-manufacturing, respecting available capacity.
  • Establish Committed Capacity and provide information on labor requirements.
  • Proactively address and share capacity issues, identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Contribute to cross-functional planning activities and key meetings.
  • Support the Annual Volume Commitment and Strategic Volume Planning process.
  • Support NCE/LEAN initiatives and collaborate with peers to share best practices.
  • Collaborate with LEAN Champion, Business Excellence, and Production Management for continuous improvement.

 

What will make you successful 

 

  • Relevant operational experience in factory planning, factory logistics, IMS, or other supply planning positions.
  • Experience in supply chain development and customer-facing supply chain is helpful.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and using relevant planning tools.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Experience in factory planning, supply chain planning, procurement, or related roles.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing finished goods inventory planning and control.
  • Familiarity with production scheduling and supply chain operations.
  • Understanding of product life cycle processes and factory master data management.
  • Experience with CAPEX and strategic planning.
  • Familiarity with NCE (Nestlé Continuous Excellence) principles and methodologies.
