The Factory Technical & Production (T&P) Co-Op Program builds the participant’s breadth of understanding in Technical &Production by providing real work experience through project-based assignments. This training program is designed to attract talented and ambitious college students with strong analytical, problem solving, and communications skills who demonstrate curiosity and a willingness to learn. Students should have a genuine desire to work in a manufacturing environment after graduation.  
The program includes learning opportunities via structured and unstructured learning activities, formal training opportunities through Nestlé University, networking opportunities and mentoring.

 

This program is designed to provide benefits to program participants, their managers, and to the company in alignment with its strategic mission and objectives. Benefits for the participant would include:
Co-Op Participant
•A solid understanding of core business and manufacturing processes in a large consumer packaged goods (CPG) company.
•Exposure to key areas of Technical & Production within Nestlé USA.

 

Preferred start date March/April 2023

Requirements:
•Working towards an Undergraduate or Master’s degree in the areas of  Industrial, Chemical, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering or other relevant fields
•Junior or Senior Status
•Interested in working in a factory environment
•Work Visa sponsorship is not offered for this position

 

Preferred Requirements:
•GPA of 3.0 or above

Knowledge and Skills:
•Strong communication, analytical, organizational, and leadership skills
•Possesses a continuous improvement mindset and strong problem solving skills
•Must have exceptional time management skills and be able to handle multiple requests and projects at one time.
•Possess the ability to work off hours to support a 24 hour operation
•Excellent interpersonal relationship builder; with the ability to relate to all levels of people and be able to thrive in a team environment
•Must possess a positive, “can-do” attitude and willingness to learn
•A self-starter with a focus on results
