Position Summary & Qualifications

The Factory Manufacturing Excellence Specialist actively supports the implementation of the Local Leadership Team (LLT) improvement strategy. The role acts as the center of expertise for Continuous Improvement and Industrial Performance. This role is a member of the Focused Improvement (FI) team and Local Leadership Team.
Directly reporting to the Factory Manufacturing Excellence Manager, they will support the coordination, alignment, and execution of all Continuous Improvement and TPM initiatives within the factory.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
•    Partner with the Local Leadership Teams to define their improvement plans to deliver the expected results: 
1.    Continuous Improvement project plan creation based on a deep understanding and analysis of the losses
2.    Competency building activities defined including external support requirements
•    Support the execution of the improvement plan by:
1.    Ensuring proper governance and project management routines
2.    Spending time on the shop floor to coach and identify key opportunities
3.    Providing guidance and feedback to LLT and aligning on corrective actions to adjust execution plans
•    Member of Focused Improvement (FI) team, which includes competence building and health of FI systems and routines (Problem solving, Project & Stakeholder Management, Loss Intelligence, etc.) 
•    Administrator and trainer for continuous improvement related digital systems (Poka, DMO Performance, etc.)
•    Serve as SAP Superuser for the factory.
•    Responsible for Industrial Performance systems & routines, including labor utilization studies, data reliability, SAP master data, planning rate reviews, and Asset Intensity systems.
Key Internal Relationships: ME Manager, Category ME Manager, Factory Manager, Factory Leadership Team members, and Local Leadership Team members.

QUALIFICATIONS:
•    Bachelors’ degree preferred or equivalent work experience
•    1-3 years of experience in a Manufacturing environment with continuous improvement (Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, etc.)
•    1-3 years working with a factory operations team, with success in supporting & developing cross functional teams
•    Strong analytical skills with processing and interpreting data
•    Critical thinker with experience in problem solving and managing projects
•    Understanding of cultural change management, process improvement and business connections
•    Experience working with industrial engineering systems and methodologies
