Position Summary

The Compliance Supervisor is responsible for leading and managing the factory’s compliance programs, ensuring adherence to internal and external standards including FSSC 22000, ISO 22002, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and Nestlé-specific requirements. This role serves as the site’s Compliance Champion and Subject Matter Expert (SME) for audits, document control, and quality systems.  This role also oversees Technical Writing activities at the factory, ensuring translation of complex technical information into clear, accurate, and user-friendly production floor documentation.

 

 

Primary Responsibilities

 

Audit & Compliance Management:

    • Lead internal audits and manage external audits (FSSC 22000, NMS, NIA, FDA, USDA, etc.).
    • Maintain audit schedules, conduct audits using Risk Based Assessment Tool and manage audit related nonconformances in Cority.
    • Coordinate and input data for EFCA, SHEFCA, and Quality Compliance Assessments.
    • Prepare and lead annual Management Reviews.
    • Lead Management of Change program and meetings, supporting change owners with MOC submissions into Cority.

Training & Documentation:

    • Conduct training for Document Control, MOC, Holds/Nonconformance, and Good Documentation Practices.
    • Own and maintain key compliance documents (e.g., MOC, Product Recall, Management Review).
    • Support factory SMEs as Technical Writing Champion, delivering clear, accurate, and user-friendly documentation.

System Ownership & Tools:

    • SME for Cority modules (Document Control, Holds, Nonconformance, MOC, Audit).
    • Manage NUSA Compliance Power BI Tool and iEnable portal for audit findings.
    • Oversee Operations Instructions fit-gap assessments across all departments.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

    • Liaise with NUSA Compliance, NUSA Corporate Quality, and factory SMEs.
    • Support new hire onboarding and annual process description coaching.
    • Manage War Room activities during regulatory audits.

 

 

Requirements and Minimum Education Level

 

  • Bachelor's Degree required in a related field
  • Lead Auditor Certified
  • Strong knowledge of FSSC 22000, ISO 22002, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of related Compliance experience required in a manufacturing regulatory environment (food or pharma preferred)
  • Proven track record in delivering results by working with cross-functional teams and different initiatives
  • Ability to coordinate multiple activities amongst diverse groups of people – both on site and off location
  • Must demonstrate excellent, timely, and clear verbal and written communication to multiple levels within the organization
  • Must be computer literate and proficient in MS Office and SAP systems.  Will learn other software systems to perform job duties
  • Competent in navigating PowerBI
