- Manage operations and personnel of Maintenance, Shipping and Receiving, Groundskeeping, Janitorial services, Cafeteria Services, Mail Services and Security.
- Manage capital projects including budgeting, project management, vendor management, capitalization, and asset management.
- Create and control budget for operation of site.
- Directs and ensures the implementation and compliance of all State and Federal safety regulations for areas of responsibility.
- Completes agreed-upon specific objectives for this position and assists Direct Reports in the preparation of objectives for the fiscal year.
- Monitors and signs off inspection sheets in Fremont Facilities Ammonia Plant.
- HIgh school diploma
- 3+ years’ experience managing facilities, utilities, environmental compliance, and/or maintenance.
- Preferred Experience: Management experience in manufacturing, buildings & grounds, ammonia systems operation, and maintenance in food processing, pharmaceutical, or equivalent industry.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead, develop and energize people of diverse memberships around a shared vision and guide them to reach ambitious objectives. Coach others to enable them to achieve short- and long-term performance goals. Enforce policies and procedures.
- Dealing with Others: Proven history of working collaboratively with others and working effectively across functions, groups, and boundaries. Convince and influence others to align them around a common objective. Maintain safety of self and others.
- Results: Must have proven work history of a drive to meet or exceed ambitious performance objectives and quality standards. Deliver business results and continually find sustainable improvements to methods and processes. Act in a proactive way to take action and anticipate future opportunities or problems and act upon them in advance. Must be able to act as a change catalyst for department.
- Service Orientation: Ability to identify links between facts, ideas, and situations to develop short- and long-term visions. Determine, understand, and address customer needs and expectations to provide high-quality service in a mutually profitable relationship. Ability to explore new situations and new approaches. Evaluate risks to make decisions or choices.
- Technical: Perform systematic troubleshooting of problems with multiple causal factors and implement preventative action plans to prevent recurrence. Must support and enforce contract agreement and government regulations.
Salary: $94,915.80 to $138,929.00 per year
Bonus Eligibility: Yes
The pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at top of range.
