POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for managing and deploying digital solutions (Globe/SAP, DMO, Prometheus, PowerBi, TrendMiner) to ensure site needs and business continuity are maintained.
 
JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Line Analysis & Routine Review of Line Performance
  • Investigate, analyze, and solve operational problems relating to material and labor costs.
  • Identify potential manufacturing bottlenecks and problems and develop solutions to overcome these problems.
  • Develop database systems (PowerBI, TrendMiner, etc.) and other required tools as defined by NAOOMI to support loss analysis.
  • Identify areas of excessive cost, analyze the problem for root cause, and develop and implement solutions/digital tools to reduce or eliminate excessive cost.
  • Conduct capacity studies when needed.
  • Lead or participate in Performance and other improvement projects, as assigned. May support BUs in operational reviews.
SAP/DMO Data Analysis and Support
  • Manage all production-related SAP master data (with exceptions of BOM’s) to ensure smooth SAP activities on plant floor and accurate system data. This would include yearly/quarterly and as needed updates of Master Recipes & Production Versions, CCRs, PSA bins, Resource management, ECMs. Archiving historical data and reasons for adjustments and performing various complex health checks to assure SAP/DMO system and data integrity. Creation of trial POs.
  • Lead and conduct SAP system technical design for integration with complementary systems, such as DMO.
  • Manage the planning and design of SAP/DMO mapping for new rollouts or enhancements to existing integrations/versions. Create digital roadmap for the site.
  • Daily management of direct interface of SAP with other complementary systems including all IDOCs, tickets incoming/outgoing, site notifications. Monitor interface error process messages to ensure data transfers between plant floor and SAP are correct. Follow up on any errors to ensure data integrity.
  • Perform month-end clean up (orders properly closed, no negative inventory in WIP, no outstanding errors, DMO confirmations exported).
  • Manage planned and unplanned SAP outages, as well as SAP BCP recovery activities for site. Supports daily troubleshooting and ticket creation.
Compliance
  • Manage all DMO master data and set up. Assure DMO alignment with SAP to preserve integrity of both systems. Perform periodic DMO data and entry health checks to help ensure data integrity.
  • Conduct training on DMO and SAP for production supervisors and team leaders. Feedback on gaps in WOR using data health metrics (e.g. movements after TECO) and create SOPs to build competency and support training.
  • Monitor activities related to GFI health checks and help drive improvements.
  • Support budget preparation activities and maintain other Operational performance related Factory data systems (e.g. CST, etc.).
  • All employees will support and participate in Nestlé Continuous Excellence (NCE) and Total Performance Management (TPM) as a part of their job responsibility within their Business Unit or as assigned within the factory.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
  • Must have a BS/BA degree with 5 years experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
Experience
  • Preferred experience in the food processing or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Broad experience with SAP mapping and integration.
  • Thorough knowledge of SAP architecture, data flow and extraction methods.
  • Experience with PowerBi is desirable.
Skills
  • Proficiency in computer spreadsheets and databases.
  • Knowledge of statistics, financial analysis techniques, and basic work measurement skills.
  • Effective written and oral communication.
  • Effective in leading teams.
  • Inquisitive and creative nature.

 

Salary: $91,743.30 to $127,839.00 per year

The pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at top of range.
