POSITION SUMMARY: Manage, guide, and develop Supply Chain functions at the plant in order to meet production and business needs at required performance levels and at optimized costs.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Production Planning
-
Ensure Detailed Production Scheduling is consistently delivering achievable plans for both manufacturing and filling/packaging operations within given Master Production Schedule, while minimizing production costs.
Warehousing
-
Manage, guide, and develop the factory Material Handling teams to ensure the warehousing operations for raw, packaging material and for finished goods run within company guidelines (Good Warehousing Practices). The teams will record the inventory accurately and check inventory rotation, control and coordinate all documents relevant to receipt and dispatch of goods.
Supply Chain Operations

Ensure smooth operations by effective communication and close collaboration with all internal partners at the factory, Supply Chain, Procurement and external partners as Suppliers, Customs and Transport providers.

Monitors and manages Safety, health, and Environment, Quality and CARE regulations.

Development of careers, succession plans, development and coaching of factory supply chain personnel in close co-operation with Supply Chain Management. Plan for roll-out of new products and assimilation of new distribution systems as necessary with company growth. Improve systems for delivering products and services to our customers. Responsible for Inventory and budget management, including status updates and continual reporting requirements. Ensure compliance with local, Federal, and international regulations.

Train, direct, and coach departmental staff to ensure maximum opportunity for individual contribution and team coordination. Establish and ensure effective communication of company and department policies, principles, practices, and procedures. Provide ongoing feedback as necessary. Special assignment/projects as assigned.
Safety and Environmental

Supply Chain manager shall follow factory safety & environmental objectives & targets follow the plant safety rules, report incidents & unsafe conditions immediately, maintain compliance with regulations, and refer to the Safety & Environmental Management System(s) on all related procedures and programs. Understand the environmental aspects of the position, as indicated on the aspects and impacts sheets, and take action to reduce these environmental impacts by conserving paper, electricity, water etc. Will also recycle all appropriate materials (paper, plastic, food, etc.)
Quality

Associate shall follow factory food safety, quality objectives & targets follow Nestle Good Manufacturing Practices, report food safety and quality issues immediately, maintain compliance with regulations, and refer to Nestle Quality Management System on all related procedures and programs. Understand the food safety and quality aspects of the position as indicated on QMS, OJT's and SOP's that apply.
NCE

Build/Support NCE foundation within supply chain that will drive improvements in performance and decision making through training/supporting team members in Nestlé Continuous Excellence, DMAIC Problem Solving, and Lean Thinking.
REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL:
-
BS Degree in Supply Chain, Materials or similar field required.
EXPERIENCE:
-
5 plus years in supply chain, materials management, and/or planning scheduling and at least 3 years of management experience.
SKILLS:
-
Leadership, coaching, problem solving, Microsoft office suite, excellent verbal and written communication required. Experience with TPM and SAP preferred.
