Position Summary

As a Manufacturing Production Coordinator, you will work closely with Manufacturing, Materials Handling, and Financial/Costing Teams within the factory to support the collection, entry and reporting of manufacturing and inventory management functions. This role directly affects costing, inventory management and performance reporting.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Enters and validates production data by validating ingredient/material usage, production transactions, history reports, and correcting machine hours/produced quantities.
  • Performs Raw and Packaging Materials Management Functions by validating raw and packaging material receipts, and assisting/managing material movement/consumption.
  • Validates and monitors stock rotation processes.
  • Performs Inventory Management Functions by managing “cycle count” process to maintain accurate records, performing variance analysis/resolution, and balancing reconciliation between warehouse and inventory management systems.
  • Performs Ingredient Verification Functions by reconciling critical ingredient measurements, tracking ingredient delivery variances, working with QA and Maintenance to correct issues.
  • Supports Continuous Improvement Efforts by performing internal audits to measure Factory’s internal compliance, analyzing plant floor process errors and determine root causes using “SAP” transactional history reports and supporting production management in developing action plans for addressing process failures resulting in production stoppages.
  • Performs other activities as directed by manager.


Basic Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • 6+ months of materials accounting, or production systems experience in a manufacturing, military, or related environment.

 

Preferred

  • 2+ year business related degree or equivalent training
