Position Summary
As a Training Specialist, you will be responsible for securing resources for schedule New Employee Orientation (NEO) and facilitate the schedule within the factory. You will assist with the implementation of strategic initiatives and drive competency building from a training perspective. This person will also manage training center resources: calendars, rooms, equipment, and workstations.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and facilitate factory training programs and materials
- Schedule employee training plans, for new hires in particular
- Create and update training documentation
- Collaborate with all departments on training needs analysis
- Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to develop and document processes, procedures, work instructions and standards
- Develop and organize teaching outlines for practical and technical instruction
- Coordinate New Employee Orientation training
- Maintain record keeping system that provides relevant information concerning training content, activities, attendance, and evaluation
Basic Qualifications (Education and Experience):
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- 2+ years of training experience within a manufacturing, industrial, military, or related environment OR a Bachelor’s Degree in a Human Resources, Learning and Development, Business, or related field
Preferred:
- Proficient with Microsoft programs: Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, and Teams
