We are currently looking for an Import & Export Executive (Logistics) to join our Operations team.

Location: Gebze

Type of contract: Permanent

As a Import & Export Executive, you will have the following responsibilities;

Ensure reporting on time, Logistic KPI, PPI, Dynamic Forecasts, IMPEX Statistics, GEKAP, All management reports for department, ...etc and Sustain data maintenance of Nestlé order tracking systems.
Single point of contact for GLP and THUB team and all 3PLs (carriers, shipping lines) in tender processes include investigate & supply all needed data for tender, reflect market environment and advise & prioritize the best options , KPI measurement, annual containerization ..etc and ensure excellent service. Lead projects that came from GLP and THUB and be the bridge between global teams and the TR market
Manage allocation increases collaborating with GLP and THUB for both import and export. Usage of global tool (Keelvar) for sea freight allocation increase and also new sea lane requests. Usage of tender form for road freight allocation increase and also new road lane requests.
Evaluate Import & Export scenarios continuously and seek for alternatives to optimize cost and digitalization and sustainability project. Identify root causes of service failures and implement proactive actions to drive continuous improvement
Coordinates with internal and external stakeholders to ensure spot air and road freight as well as full and partial shipments exclusive of global tenders in case of necessity. Raise RFC in order to obtain air freight rates from Global Logistics Team. Responsible to evaluate and advise to best option to GLP for competitive freight cost .
Establish to reduce demurrage cost and port charges by following end to end process, from the loading to departure. Collaborate with the customs broker and the liners to start and complete the import formalities on time before the free time expires.
Maintain regular weekly, bi-weekly, monthly review meetings with carriers and liners in order to ensure their performance is on track and negotiate the current obstacles and satisfaction
"Analysis of port charges & warehouse customs clearance times & Logistic Cost to manage regarding TDC projects.
Continuous search for intermodal options and / or ensure converting more sustainable shipment options where available by collaborating local and global logistics procurement teams"
Establish most suitable shipment model for exceptional cases for sake of operation and planning .
Collect the necessary documentation from the carriers that are nominated under global ocean tender and / or global road tender and provide them to the impex ops specialist (finance) to get their vendor generated into SAP
Establish 12 month capacity report of import pallet forecast for ROH & Bulk materials as well as FERT products that are being imported at Gemlik to make sure that we have enough capacity to stock them in our defined bonded warehouses by minding customs clearance time .
Monitor T-lanes based on road and sea freights and collect feedbacks from import operations team regularly. Negotiate feedbacks with DSP team and ensure T-lane's are revised accordingly .Work on the best transportation model to supply optimum cost with a shortest T-lane
Lead & Coach Export Outsource team to eliminate the road blokes for export operation
