We are currently looking for an Import - Export Operations Manager to join our Operations team.

Location: Gebze

Type of contract: Permanent

As an Import - Export Operations Manager, you will have the following responsibilities;

Agree on service requirements with businesses and establish targets.                             

Put in place a structured continuous improvement approach based on the application of tools and the

implemention of Best Practices                                  

Drive cost saving initiatives to improve the performance and costs on operation                                         

Focus on Performance improvement making sure that Key Performance Indicators are monitored on

a periodical basis, and taking the necessary actions when deviation or issues are detected.                       
Ensure the documentation compliance is attended on accuracy and timing of delivery/receipt to the

receiving markets or from producing markets and/or 3rd party suppliers                        

Organize tenders supported by Procurement to select the most suitable service providers (Freight

Forwarders, Transport companies, etc. )                                  

Have in place a structure which allows to have ongoing control on changes in Harmonzed Tariff

Systems, Trade agreements & Subsidies.                   

Mantain knowledge, proficiency level, training and motivating the Import/Export team, developing a

high performing team culture.                                    

Ensure the service provider receives appropriate training to run the outsourced activities according to

Nestle principles.                             

Establish key alliances and engage external stakeholders                                    

SHE AND Quality Responsibility: Line Managers at all levels and functions have responsibility either directly or through appropriate managers, supervisors and team leaders that the operation/activities within their areas of responsibility are carried out in accordance with company/site policies and legislation and that any requirements are integrated into the work activities under their control. Maintain Safe working environment in compliance with local laws striving for ZERO Accidents through continuous coaching on safe behaviours

Which profile are we looking for?

University degree required,

Normally not less than 5 years relevant and successful operational

experience in a leadership role at market/ business environment:

- Import / Export and

- Transportation

or experience in any other relevant Supply Chain leadership

role.

Relevant operational experience at market/ business level, in the

following areas is beneficial:

- Customer Service

- Demand & Supply Planning

- Foreign Trade & Customs

- Finance: Business Planning, budget control, cost management

Experience in the management of projects such as:

Tendering of Service Providers

Change Management of Service Providers
