As an HR Coordinator at our Gaffney Factory, you are essential in supporting our large and dynamic manufacturing team and in fostering a positive experience for all employees. In this role, you partner closely with the HR team and site leaders to keep HR processes running smoothly while also contributing to employee engagement, recognition, and community activities. From day‑to‑day coordination to moments that bring people together, your work helps reinforce our values and shape the culture employees experience every day.
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Administrative Support:
- Serve as the first point of contact for the HR department, handling employee inquiries and supporting the HR team with scheduling, communications, and file management.
- Coordinate meeting logistics, including room bookings and catering.
- Offer support to the HR team with administrative tasks as needed.
- Payroll & Expense Tracking:
- Administer site-level payroll auditing and processing weekly.
- Track departmental expenses and manage supply orders.
- HR Systems & Reporting:
- Maintain and generate reports using SAP Master Data (e.g., new hire, absenteeism).
- Keep organizational charts and HR records up to date.
- Support annual HR projects such as succession planning, talent reviews, and auditing reports.
- Employee Experience & Events:
- Plan and lead employee and community events that reflect our culture and values.
- Assist with cultural assimilation initiatives and employee engagement programs.
- Onboarding & Offboarding:
- Coordinate onboarding and exit processes, including IT setup and workspace assignments.
- Act as the IT Coordinator (ITC) for your client group.
- Recruitment & Job Postings:
- Manage the site’s job posting system and track internal movements.
- Support recruitment activities across all position levels.
- Process Improvement:
- Continuously identify and implement process improvements to enhance HR operations.
What You’ll Bring:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- At least two years of experience in administrative support or as an HR coordinator, preferably within a manufacturing setting.
- Demonstrated strong organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
- Proven capacity to maintain confidentiality and appropriately manage sensitive information.
- Highly motivated self-starter who excels in dynamic, fast-paced environments with minimal supervision.
