Position Summary

Maintains reliability and functionality of in-house (factory floor and administrative) software, network and communication systems. Responsible for the assigned installation, configuring, development, maintenance, documentation and training of in-house computer software, databases and reporting systems. Coordinates in-house implementation of new and enhanced corporate directed software.
 
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supports definition, alignment and implementation of the Local Leadership Team Execution Plan: 

  • Familiarity with database design and query, office and business information technology
  • Document any automation program and system/device/instrument configuration changes
  • Schedule and perform all condition based and preventive maintenance work in alignment with manufacturing schedules and requirements. Coordinate system checks with line maintenance personnel.
  • Analyze line performance data from various systems and provide improvement support based on findings and analysis. 

Support of software and programs:    

  • Provide analytical, technical and developmental expertise and support for existing and future plant computer related software, plant floor data collection systems and business information technology.
  • Analyze, develop, document and maintain necessary in-house information and data collection systems.
  • Install, configure, performance tune, administer and troubleshoot all in-house computer related hardware, software, database, network, communication and multi-media systems.
  • Maintain reliability and provide continuous improvement of factory floor solutions to support the goals and objectives of the manufacturing and distribution operation.


EXPERIENCE:

  • Understanding of cultural change management, process improvement and business connections.
  • 1-3 years working & developing improvement projects, loss analysis, & strong experience in leading /applying problem solving tools, experience in Manufacturing.
  • 1-3 years with an active role on the implementation of Goal Alignment/TPM/Lean and working & developing improvement projects, loss analysis, & strong experience in leading /applying problem solving tools.
  • Understanding of cultural change management, process improvement and business connections.
  • Experience working with Line labor standards, Budget preparation/review, and line capability/speed studies

Knowledge in two (2) or more of the following areas:

  • Systems operations (Server, PC, Local Area Networking, SAP), Windows operating systemsCisco IOS, PLC’s and HMI systems
  • Manufacturing Execution System (MES), Building Automation System (BAS), Utility Management System (UMS), Energy Management System (EMS)
  • Maintain Quality Control standards at all times – perform through SPC and in compliance with QMS Advanced Level standards and all FDA requirements.
  • Systematic change control on PLC programs.
  • Backup MES data, automation application program, system/device/instrument configuration.
  • Familiarity with database design and query
  • Familiarity with office and business information technology
  • Document any automation program and system,/device/instrument configuration changes.
