Position Summary

We have an exciting opportunity for a Brand Manager to join our Beverages business at our Gatwick head office. This really is a great opportunity to join a very dynamic and challenging category. You would be working on our amazing NESCAFÉ Dolce Gusto brand with a team that is really striving for world class!

A day in the life of a Brand Manager...

Well where do we start… ultimately the NESCAFÉ Dolce Gusto team’s main purpose is for all coffee drinkers to be able to enjoy coffee-shop quality coffee in the comfort of their home every day!

Responsible for building pod consumption amongst NESCAFÉ Dolce Gusto machine owners, you will develop and deliver the annual brand plan in close collaboration with both the local team and the global business unit. Everything you do will be rooted in consumer insight and understanding that you will leverage to provide a great brand experience. You will be responsible for understanding consumer data, insights, and what the consumer story is telling us, to then be able to support the pod consumption strategy development, and inform the annual brand plan.

You’ll play a pivotal role in bringing to life our consumption strategy by:

  • Leading the development and delivery of integrated marketing campaigns, working closely across a number of different functional areas and agencies, from brief to post-evaluation.
  • Supporting the Senior Brand Manager in the launch of innovations and renovations, from business plan creation to performance analysis.

Additionally, in order to support Nestlé’s commitment to zero waste by 2025, you will be leading our pod sustainability programme development, with the objective to offer the best recycling service to all our consumers in the UK and in the Republic of Ireland.

What will make you successful

  • A passion for understanding consumers, using data and insights and be able to convert this into successful marketing programmes.
  • Innovative in your strategic thinking, yet highly organised to deliver the resulting activity with excellence.
  • Thrive when working with stakeholders across all levels coupled with your ability to truly understand our businesses from a commercial standpoint.
  • Fantastic communication skills and understand how your decisions impact our market business strategy.
  • Love working in an environment that isn’t always black and white, being able to navigate both yourself and stakeholders to a positive solution.
  • Know the importance of being able to work successfully in situations that can sometimes be pressured.
What you need to know

What can we offer in return? Great benefits you’d expect from a business the size of Nestlé – in the shape of a competitive salary and benefits package, bonus scheme, flexible working scheme, 25 days holiday plus statutory holidays plus flex, private healthcare, pension scheme and a real focus on personal development and growth. We will be considering applicants as they apply, so please don’t delay in submitting your application.

Nestlé UK&I is committed to equal opportunity for all. We may collect relevant data for monitoring as part of our candidate registration process.
