Customer Development Executive – Nestlé Professional

Field Based covering London/Essex/Suffolk/Cambridgeshire/Hertfordshire

Salary c£38,000 + Company Car + Bonus + Excellent Benefits Package

 

 

Nestlé Professional (“NP”) is our Business-to-Business food service arm, which specialises in the Out of Home solutions market. NP operates successfully in an enormous marketplace, and is an ambitious growth driver for Nestlé. The team’s aim is to inspire growth in our partners, by providing branded, creative solutions that help our customers develop their business, ultimately driving footfall and increasing their profit.

 

Nestle Professional (“NP”) is looking for a commercially astute and sales focussed Customer Development Executive (“CDE”) to join the team.

Position Summary

 

The Customer Development Executive role is field based and covers the London/Essex/Suffolk/Cambridgeshire/Hertfordshire area.  The role is responsible for retaining and growing business across our extensive range of leading branded Food, Beverage and Confectionery solutions via multiple routes to market and key end user customers.

 

A day in the life of a Custoner Development Executive...

 

  • Carrying out sales visits, RaRa days, Focus Weeks, Demonstrations
  • Growing and retaining your customers sales to deliver against an overall territory £’s annual target
  • Generating leads and creating activation plans to drive new business through your Route To Market customers through all available communication media (including digital)
  • Create contingency plans that anticipate and overcome any hurdles to ensure targets are achieved
  • Building long term trust to develop on-going sales with customers through Joint Business and Customer Investment Plans
  • Activation and execution of National Account Plans at site/depot level
  • Analyse multiple data sources and develop key industry contacts to create a comprehensive sales plan
  • Monthly forecasting on all direct business
  • Managing all customer investment within defined trade spend guidelines
What will make you successful

 

We are looking for passionate and driven sales professional who is able to demonstrate a strong understanding of the Vending/Buying Groups Foodservice industry and who has a record of accomplishment on delivering sustainable results.

 

  • Proven and continuous sales experience ideally from a large FMCG business
  • You will be commercially focussed and be able to demonstrate a focus on creating plans that achieve results.
  • You will be able to rapidly build strong working relationships with lots of different stakeholders in Nestlé, and importantly, with your customer base and be happy to support and challenge where needed.
  • Candidates with experience of working within Cash & Carry, Wholesale, Vending or Route to Market would be desirable
