Position Snapshot

Digital Marketing Lead

Nestlé Nutrition

Gatwick

Salary: Up to £75,000 depending on experience + Car allowance + Potential Bonus + Excellent Benefits.

Position Summary

We have a fantastic opportunity for a talented digital marketing leader to join our Nestlé Nutrition team based in our Gatwick office, as a Digital Marketing Lead. This is a pivotal role for our Nutrition business and will be responsible for successfully building the SMA & Little Steps brands through scaled, connected and personalised engagement. You will be responsible for a team of experts, digital, CRM and consumer engagement as well as leading the digital capability building within the team. It really is an exciting time to be part of Nestlé Nutrition as we develop our digital ecosystem to support parents & HCPs.

A little bit about us

At Nestlé Nutrition, we like our customers to think of us as the ‘go-to people’ for cutting edge infant nutrition science, sound practical advice, best-in-class information and gentle reassurance on nutrition decisions during a baby’s early childhood. Infant nutrition was the starting point of Nestlé and has been a cornerstone of our activity since inception in 1867. In line with our belief that breast feeding is the best start a baby can have in life, we are committed to ensuring that the way that we market infant formulae does not undermine breastfeeding and enables the mother who cannot breastfeed, or chooses not to, to make an informed and educated choice regarding breastfeeding and the suitability of using breast-milk substitutes.

A day in the life of a digital marketing lead.

Where do we start… you will be responsible for developing the strategic narrative across all our consumer engagement touchpoints ensuring strategies are clearly implemented in the right way to support our commercial plans across the whole SMA portfolio.

You will also:

•    Implement the brand’s personalisation strategy in line with the SMA’s portfolio priorities including our SMA Baby Club and the consumer engagement strategy.
•    Liaise with a wide range of diverse stakeholders to build an effective personalisation ‘eco system’ ensuring all key parent touchpoints are optimised in the best way possible as well as identifying new opportunities and partnerships
•    Refresh our social/digital strategy across the brands, principles, priorities and best practices with particular emphasis on:
-    Digital best practices, digital training, web metrics / KPIs and listening protocols.
-    Social media engagement tactics and strategies.
-    Mobile/wireless marketing, including pursuit of centralised mobile app development.
•    Define & implement the consumer engagement strategy.
•    Manage and work closely with all digital and CRM agency partners to ensure efficient ways of working, identifying and implementing the right solutions and technologies for all digital and CRM initiatives as well as reviewing agencies’ performance on a regular basis.
•    Ensure great coordination of the wider team ensuring all are well connected with the consumer marketing team for flawless and streamlined execution of the brand plans.
•    Consistently demonstrate thought leadership of the personalisation landscape and consumer journeys - demonstrating best practice and business excellence on new technologies and possibilities in this space

What will make you successful

As the successful candidate, you will be a digital expert, already have a breadth of fantastic digital marketing, CRM, search & e business experience under your belt. You will thrive when working with stakeholders across all levels coupled with your ability to truly understand our business from a commercial standpoint. You will have fantastic communication skills and understand how to take people on a journey with you to develop world class digital strategies that really do add value. You will love working in an environment that is not always black and white, being able to navigate both yourself and stakeholders to a positive solution. You will know the importance of being able to work successfully in situations that can often be pressured.  You will also:

•    Have experience of delivering robust digital strategies ideally within a regulated environment.
•    Be able to demonstrate experience of leading digital activities including personalisation and segmentation.
•    Have experience in working across Digital ecosystem (clear understanding of interconnectivity of search, content, websites, CRM, channels and platforms)
•    Be able to lead, coach and support a diverse team to ensure the right development opportunities are identified to support their career aspirations.
•    Be able to demonstrate experience of working in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
•    Have strong presentation skills, targeting a wide audience across internal and external stakeholders.

What you need to know

What can we offer in return? Great benefits you’d expect from a business the size of Nestlé – in the shape of a competitive salary and benefits package, bonus scheme, flexible working scheme, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays plus flex leave, pension scheme and a real focus on personal development and growth.

The closing date for this role is 23rd March 2022
