Direct to Consumer Manager - 12 months FTC

Gatwick  (Hybrid working – approx. 2 flexible days a week in our fantastic office)

Level 4

Salary up to £70,000 depending on experience + 17% car allowance plus potential bonus and fantastic benefits including , 12 flexible days in addition to holiday entitlement

Position Summary

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a talented Direct to Consumer Manager to join our team for a period of 12 months.

You will lead Direct To Consumer and Digital Commerce for Nestlé UK&I to drive significant growth for the business.  You will lead the deployment of a best in class DTC End to End solution and operating model that enables our categories to win.   

A day in the life of...

 

In this role you will:

  • Lead a cross-functional team of experts across IT, People, Data & Analytics, Supply Chain Marketing etc to build the best solution in house for Nestlé to deliver on our growth ambitions

Support the newly acquired businesses by creating a model to enable efficiencies by sharing resources and expertise

  • Collaborate with the categories to ensure that the solution(s) and model fits their needs in the UK&I
  • Develop and shape workstreams with Global and Zone to ensure that we leverage all of the shared resources
  • Build a DTC capability plan to drive the right mindset and culture as well as skills
  • Lead the DTC Community in sharing best practice and networking
  • Manage existing UK relationships with DTC suppliers eg THG, Shopify to to ensure high quality performance/service and competitive benchmarking. 
  • Lead the initiatives for Digital Commerce with marketing partners like Facebook, Google, eRetail agencies and eCommerce teams to ensure integrated planning

What will make you successful

The successful candidate will have experience in & a proven track record of working in a Direct to Consumer Business.  You will have a background in leadership within growth marketing and able to demonstrate a strategic mindset.

You will also have:

  • Senior experience within a Direct To Consumer business
  • Ability to influence key stakeholder both internally and externally
  • Experience at managing complex projects
  • Entrepreneurial thinker with a daring mind-set
  • High tenacity to drive forward change
  • Agency management experience
