Key Account Manager – NESCAFÉ Dolce Gusto Machines

Gatwick (flexible working)

Up to £45,000 depending on experience + company car + bonus + benefits

Position Summary

 

Nestlé’s Beverage Division is part of the wider, global Nestlé business and is home to a number of the UK’s number 1 brands including Nescafé and Nesquik. Nescafé is the biggest coffee brand in the world equating to over £6bn global turnover a year. Within the portfolio a range of sub-brands exist including the nation’s favourite Nescafé Original. This accounts for 25% of all instant coffee cups consumed in the UK!  The range also includes the iconic Nescafé Gold Blend, innovative Nescafé Azera and stylish Nescafé Dolce Gusto. Providing great quality coffee which tastes perfect and is ethically sourced is at the top of our agenda.

A day in the life of...

 

As Key Account Manager, reporting to the Sales Development Controller, you’ll develop and implement annual customer plans that are aligned with overall business and customer strategies with the overall responsibility for increasing NESCAFÉ Dolce Gusto coffee machine availability and visibility within all areas of your customer base.

 

Key Responsibilities will include:

 

Build complete Customer Plan to drive the overall business which is aligned to overall NESCAFÉ Dolce Gusto plans and Machine Partner Sales Team counterparts as well as internal key stakeholders as linking up machines and pods.

Execute plans for assigned Accounts that are aligned with business objectives and customer strategies

Facilitates excellence in execution in the daily business by planning, communicating, anticipating, measuring results consistently and implementing corrective action or learning.

Nurtures productive business relationship beyond the buyer to include cross-functional leaders and reporting levels.  Being NESCAFÉ Dolce Gusto brand ambassador in relationship that does not involve 'selling of machines' as this is commercial relationship between our Machine Partners and retailers.

What will make you successful

 

We’re looking for candidates who are really passionate about customer activation and execution. 

 

We’re also looking for candidates to have the following skills and experience:

 

Account Management, Business Development or Category Development experience with distributor or retail operations ideally in Electrical Consumer Goods (SDA/MDA - small/medium domestic appliances)

Excellent Stakeholder Engagement skills – both internal and external

Experience of selling within Online and Grocery Customers
