Marketing Activation Manager – 12 month secondment

Position Summary

The Nestlé Professional team are looking for a commercially astute and ambitious Marketer to join their team as a Marketing Activation Manager. In this role you will be responsible for developing and executing the Channel & Category Marketing Activation Plans for the business' priority projects against the target audiences, through the Attract/Acquire/Grow/Retain (AAGR) customer journey.

A day in the life of...

As a Marketing Activation Manager in Nestlé Professional you will develop and execute the Channel & Category Marketing Activation Plan targeting the Route To Market (RTM) & Vending channels, delivered through developing the 2021 annual activation plan through key customers. Stakeholder management is critical and you will need to manage key customer relationships in buying and marketing as well as manage the relationship internally with Category Business Units (CBU), Channel and Sales. Ensuring tailored customer marketing solutions that deliver a competitive advantage is at the heart of everything you will do. You will also:

 

  • Create and manage the development of activation solutions including Media, Digital/Social, Public Relations (PR), Event/Webinar, Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Point of Sale (POS), Promotional packs ensuring to follow the AAGR framework to grow B2B sales.  Utilise own, paid, earned and RTM channels as appropriate
  • Drive Business-2-Consumer consumption in outlet through brand building and brilliant on and offline path to purchase activities
  • Work with the Digital, CRM and Lead Management to ensure Marketing Campaigns are following best practice,  created in SAP Cloud for Customer (SAP C4C), tracked and results shared with key stakeholders.  Ensure Leads followed through funnel
  • Be the guardian of full 360° campaign, ensuring through-the-line consistency in visual identity and tone-of-voice
  • Keep close to Global NP and Retail Category campaigns to utilise and adapt where appropriate
  • Support the Sales Teams in the development of Customer Sell presentations
  • Develop motivating customer sells for activation recommendations based on insight and linked to customer needs
  • Work with the Nestle Professional (NP) Brand & Activation Lead to deliver additional activation resource as required
  • Understand Decision Maker audiences in channels through working with Insight team on research projects where needed
  • Use customer field visits to develop insight based knowledge, and leverage to create relevant and engaging campaigns to drive successful growth
  • Manage RTM & Vending budgets as agreed with Category and Channel teams within project scope
  • Create pre- and post- evaluations of campaigns

  • Be highly organised and used to working in a fast paced, high volume environment
  • Have creativity in tailoring solutions to customers’ needs
  • Be comfortable working with numbers
  • Have excellent time management plus a sense of responsibility and accountability
  • Ability to create highly visual PowerPoint documents.
