Location: Flexible across either our York or Gatwick offices (Hybrid working – approx. 2 flexible days a week in one of our fantastic offices)

 

Salary up to £55,000 plus 17% car allowance + potential bonus + 12 flexible days in addition to holiday entitlement + other fantastic benefits

Position Summary

 

We are recruiting for a fantastic Project Manager opportunity currently to join the Strategy and Change team within the Nestlé Pensions team. Across the whole pensions team, we have incredibly ambitious, exciting and innovative plans and we are looking for experienced Pensions professionals to join the team to help us achieve these. 

 

A day in the life of a Project Manager

 

You will be responsible for projects through the full project life cycle including defining and implementing the project plans, ensuring adequate resource is assigned and effective change control is undertaken, whilst ensuring that there is stakeholder engagement throughout.

 

You will:


•    Define project scope, goals and deliverables in collaboration with key stakeholders
•    Develop and maintain project documentation including scope, governance, plan, risks/issues and associated communications documents.  
•    Take responsibility for overall progress and use of resources including negotiation with other managers to source required resources
•    Track progress against project milestones and deliverables and provide appropriate progress reports
•    Manage project risks, including the development of contingency plans and where appropriate, ensure appropriate and effective testing is performed
•    Own change control and any required configuration management.
•    Manage project resource / 3rd party suppliers to ensure delivery to time, cost and scope
 

What will make you successful

 

  • You will have demonstrable experience in planning and successfully delivering complex, multi-component pension projects across people, process and systems and be preferably professionally qualified.
  • You will have demonstrable experience of producing project documentation throughout the full project life cycle.
  • You will have operational knowledge of the UK DB and DC legal, regulatory & taxation framework.
  • You will have demonstrable experience of project status reporting to all levels, highlighting potential issues and project slippage and explaining plans to mitigate these issues
  • You will have proven ability to communicate complex issues / requirements clearly in all media to a variety of audiences and effective engagement of stakeholders of all levels.
  • You will have proven leadership in a team environment with evidence of collaboration to deliver common goals to agreed deadlines, taking ownership and responsibility for own areas of work.
