Position Summary

As MAGGI Brand Manager for Flavour World in the Food & Dairy business you will lead the Recipe Mix and World Foods portfolio. Reporting to the Marketing Manager you will also support the MAGGI Flavour World SBM across our Comms, Digital and Shopper Activation and other potential Innovation. You will lead the performance and development of the Recipe Mix and World Foods portfolio as well as the development of the consumer centric Innovation pipeline for the next 3 years. You will monitor, analyse and report on brand / category performance, support with the creation and execution of our eBusiness and Digital plans and lead the shopper Shopper Activation plans and budget for MAGGI.

A day in the life of a Brand Manager


As a Brand Manager for Recipe Mix & World Foods you will take the lead on MAGGI Dry Recipe Mixes as well as Shopper Activation. To do this you will:

•    Support the development and delivery of the annual brand plan for Recipes Mixes and World Foods, and support the SBM across the broader Flavour World category. 
•    Input into the strategic development of the annual brand plan, including objectives, budget, marketing activities in line with the Global and local ambition for MAGGI.  Work collaboratively across internal and external stakeholders in the preparation of the plans, sign off with LT and prepare to sell the plans externally to customers as necessary.
•    Deliver a winning strategy and plan for MAGGI Dry Recipe Mixes, underpinned by strong consumer and customer insight, ensuring we have the tastiest and healthiest experiences that contributes to NHW. You will deliver against commercial and external KPI's, manage pipeline and ensure we execute with excellence across all consumer touch points. You will work in unison with CCSD to ensure we have a winning channel and customer strategy, plan and event activation plan.   
•    Support the Senior Brand Manager in building winning eBusiness and Digital plans for 2022 and beyond.
•    Develop annual shopper activation plans and creative for MAGGI, and see through the execution reviewing the plans monthly tracking performance vs set KPI's working with the Shpper Activation Manager. 
•    Lead PFME planning and reporting for MAGGI & HERTA ensuring trackers are aligned with Globe, monthly summaries are provided to the Marketing Manager, and these are accurately represented in the month Dynamic Forecast

What will make you successful

The successful candidate will bring with them excellent experience in brand building (including campaign brief and execution), developing brand strategies and will have strong digital planning and execution skills. They will ideally have experience in an FMCG organisation but this is not essential, however they will have experience in influencing & managing stakeholders in a matrix organisation. They will also:

•    Have P&L management & budget management experience 
•    Experience influencing & managing stakeholders in a matrix organisation
•    Have strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing, and the ability to build relationships
•    Have strong analytical skills & a strategic mind-set
•    Be well organized with a sound knowledge of Excel & PowerPoint
