Position Summary

 

The Nespresso team have a brand new opportunity for a Paid Search Manager to join them to lead the paid search acquisition strategy and execution across B2C and B2B for Nespresso UK&I. Focusing on driving qualified traffic, high conversion, new acquisition and high ROAS you will execute and optimise paid search activity through best in class and best practice techniques. You will also work cross functionally with both external and internal teams in Trade, Marketing, Supply Chain and Finance to optimise performance; focusing on driving profitable, high value acquisitions.

A day in the life of a Paid Search Manager

 

As a Paid Search Manager you will be responsible for:

 

Demand generation

 

  • Managing and developing large scale campaigns across paid search platforms to deliver growth and acquisition targets, focusing on efficient CPAs and ROAS
  • Capturing demand driven by ATL campaigns driving qualified traffic to site
  • Working with agencies to develop organic brand presence to reduce reliance on brand search and focus paid on delivering new acquisition
  • Ensuring Nespresso is easy to find or finds consumers
  • Identifying growth opportunity through existing platforms

 

Delivering best practice and best in class strategy and execution

  • You will have extensive paid search experience in developing and optimising campaigns
  • Setting search strategy, aligning to business objectives and targets
  • Developing benchmarks, targets, plan, and execute marketing strategies across paid search platforms
  • Day to day best in class optimisation to identify areas of inefficiencies 
  • Working with Nestlé and Nespresso HQ to become a market leader, ensuring best practice is adhered to 
  • Working closely with platform reps to adopt new technology and product developments to be at forefront of industry

 

Test, Learn and share

  • Designing and implementing a testing framework to measure lift in campaign performance and improve conversion rate and ROAS
  • Communicating to senior leadership team on the status of key milestones within the roadmaps
  • Socialising and sharing results with wider teams and stakeholders to highlight performance improvements and wider business impacts. 
  • Ensuring the UK&I market is at the forefront of testing and pilot new initiatives globally

 

Reporting and Analysis 

  • Work closely with B2C Ops Performance Teams to uncover actionable Insights
  • Providing innovative new methods to reveal new insights across our platforms
  • Utilising and developing new sources to meet the over ambition for one-to-one customer personalisation  
  • Along side CRM teams, gaining and leveraging data to drive business performance - utilising new prospect  and existing member data

 

Educate wider digital and commercial teams on paid search practices

  • Developing talent and growing competencies within the team and wider digital
     

What will make you successful

 

The successful candidate will have proven experience launching and managing Google Ads, Bing, and SA360 bid manager we well as experience in paid digital marketing campaigns including search, display and paid social. They will have a strong grasp of the overall digital marketing ecosystem and the role that different channels play. They will also:

 

  • Have experience with acquisition / Direct response
  • Have strong presentation skills with the ability of simplifying complex problems and data sets to develop data-led stories to influence stakeholders
  • Be analytically minded with the ability to granularly analyse complex data and make clear strategic recommendations.
  • Have the ability to take ownership and drive results whilst understanding the financial implications of business opportunities to meet and exceed goals
  • Have the ability to work in self- directed, fast- paced, result- oriented environment
