Position Summary

Nespresso are recruiting for a talented CRM Channel Ops Specialist to join the team who will lead the running of the CRM channel operations. This role, reporting to the Head of CRM, is integrally dedicated to the strategy and management of the CRM channels of communication: primarily email, push, SMS and DM whilst collaborating closely with paid marketing and web. This role is responsible for overseeing the CRM MarTech, execution process, content planning and channel best practice ensuring the CRM channels are optimised to create experiences that customers value whilst delivering results for our business. This role requires strong leadership skills along with an understanding of technology underpinning operations and a continuous improvement mindset.

A day in the life of...

As a CRM Channel Ops Specialist you will: 

  • Manage the team and agencies to execute CRM marketing in line with the Nespresso Marketing, Commercial and Lifecycle teams priorities
  • Define and continuously refine end to end campaign processes from the intake and planning of campaigns through to QA and launch, creating enhanced efficiency in the development and execution of our campaigns
  • Create test & learn plans to optimise channel marketing
  • Enable the delivery of multi-segmented content and audience selection
  • Be the specialist and point of contact for CRM MarTech and data architecture, suggesting improvements to technology and data availability and cleansing
  • Drive the delivery of the platform roadmap & prioritisation ensuring there is key stakeholder visibility
  • Build documentation for tooling setup with campaign details, data points, integrations
  • Own overall platform governance, system alerts & distribution
  • Monitor deliverability of campaigns and maintain database health
  • Deliver reporting & system health monitoring practices
  • Direct line management of 2 campaign specialists 
     

What will make you successful

The successful candidate will have solid experience in CRM channel execution with the ability to manage a team and agencies whilst still being heavily involved in the execution. They will have exceptional stakeholder management skills and be used to juggling and prioritising conflicting asks with an ability to influence. They will also have:

 

  • Demonstratable experience of managing CRM channels
  • Experience of working with CRM tools, i.e. Taxi, Adobe
  • Familiar with data warehouse structures, CDP’s and CEP’s
  • Demonstratable experience in connecting new data streams and being the expert in CRM data requirements and architecture
  • Experience onboarding new technology partners and managing internal processes
  • Experienced using multiple systems
  • Comfortable managing agency relationships
  • Experience with necessary stakeholders , e.g. external agencies, analytics teams, campaign selections, operations, etc
  • Comfortable working with data to drive strategies and decision making
  • Comfortable overseeing end-to-end processes and partaking in the execution
  • Worked for a brand with an FMCG mindset (e.g. innovation speed, high business sense)
