The Vet Sales Planning Executive plays a key role within the Sales Organisation and is responsible for working closely with the Vet Key Account Manager to deliver through our business planning processes, accuracy and timeliness in our Customer plans both internally and externally.
A day in the life of a Vet Sales Planning Executive
As Vet Sales Planning Executive, you will be responsible for the effective and compliant management of the internal forecasting, reporting, price management and customer administration.
Key responsibilities will include:
- The set-up and maintenance of planning information in our Customer Plans internally, to ensure accuracy against finance and business reporting KPIs
- Providing internal reporting and insight to support the monthly business planning process in order to give the business the necessary visibility and understanding of the latest performance and position of the customer plan
- Supporting Vet Key Account Manager with forecasting, reporting, tracking & administration relating to IVC & Vet Partners, Vet Wholesalers and Charity Partners and support PAH AD on V4P
- Supporting Vet KAM with monthly internal business cycle with corresponding attendance at MSR, roadshow etc, including IVC DF meetings
- Calculating and managing Rebate payments for customers
- Ensuring all NPD is launched successfully: wholesalers have completed new line forms within required timeframes and manage wholesaler stocking at launch.

Experience of working in a commercial environment in a head office or field sales role is critical. You will work as part of a fast-moving team managing customer plans where accuracy and attention to detail are key to ensure a right first-time result. You will be motivated to be part of a team, build great relationships within the team and with stakeholders, be open to how we can continuously improve as a team, and be the best!
Other key skills:
- Veterinary channel experience beneficial
- Forecasting experience would be beneficial
- A proactive attitude and a self-starter
- Naturally curious, it is crucial that you be able to take the initiative when faced with any obstacle to solve problems and barriers
- Demonstrable commercial/financial acumen
- Highly proficient in Excel and comfortable using other Microsoft Office programs - IT literate
- Organised & adept at planning & prioritising workloads Makes good use of insightful information and is naturally analytical
