Position Summary

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Insight Manager to join our Nespresso business based in Gatwick. The main purpose of this exciting role is to provide insights to improve the consumer experience and business results by collecting, combining and translating data on customers (behaviour), consumers, prospects, market and competition, both B2C and B2B.

A day in the life of...

 

As a Senior Insight Manager you will manage a team of 3 analysts to collect, combine and analyse internal and external data and present actionable recommendations for business initiatives across all functions, namely Marketing, Commercial and Finance.  This role is also responsible for managing the campaign management resource using Adobe.  You will typically:

 

  • Develop forecasting & predictive models either for business performance or CRM, including assisting channels in their forecasting activities
  • Perform ad-hoc deep dive analyses e.g. segmentation for B2C and B2B channels, retail optimisation, channel performance, etc, including the prioritisation process of all ad-hoc requests
  • Define indicators to ensure the measurement of results 
  • Be responsible for reporting on KPI’s, monitoring and reporting relevant trends within the database and communicate them within the organization on regular basis
  • Provide evaluation reports of CRM campaigns and marketing activities
  • Ensure robust campaign controls in place to ensure data accuracy and compliance
  • Supporting Campaign Management optimisation, particularly for personalisation and improved processes
  • Work closely with Digital Marketing to support DMP practices and planning
  • Key support annual business planning process providing necessary insights for strategy
What will make you successful

As the successful candidate you will already have an extensive analytical background and experience of using software tools in a business orientated environment, with a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in data mining/ CRM/ Direct Marketing. You will be a strategic thinker with strong stakeholder management skills.

 

You will also have:

  • University degree in Mathematics/Statistics/Econometrics/Quantitative Marketing
  • Knowledge of SPSS/SAS or similar statistics package, and of Cognos / SQL or other data query tool
  • Proven competency in project management

 

Preferably also:

  • Experience with geoanalytical software (Regiograph, Mapinfo, etc)
  • Experience in retention activities and churn risk modeling
  • Experience with campaign management tools
