Position Summary

An exciting new vacancy has arisen in our Gatwick office for a Shopper and activation manager on our NESCAFÉ Dolce Gusto brand. NESCAFÉ Dolce Gusto is one of the leading pod coffee systems and a strategic priority for Nestlé.

A day in the life of...

 

As the Shopper and Activation manager, you will lead the development and execution of our shopper plan, in store and online for our pods and machines to drive our visibility and market share.


Key responsibilities of this role will include but will not be limited to the following: 

 

  • Support the development of a clear market winning strategy, through understanding shopper’s behaviour in store and online to grow the segment                           
  • Own and develop the shoppers plan across machines and pods 
  • Plan the year execution to ensure timely delivery of the plan: liaise with brand team to develop key visuals and toolkits in line with machine partners and retailer’s needs.    
  • Liaise with Machine partners and retailers to ensure coordinated execution of plan and homogeneity of brand image and key visuals.
  • Liaise with the c-commerce team to secure visibility, content and search plan     
  • Brief agencies and liaise with marketing team to develop key visuals for national campaigns
  • Develop content for retailer specific campaigns (catalogue, online promos, exclusive activities…)
  • Liaise with Nestle sales team and activation managers to maximise specific retailers plans
  • Project management (bundles/ratings and reviews…)

This is a challenging role, and an integral part of our business.  Therefore we’re looking for driven, commercially astute professionals to join us on our growth journey       

                             

  • Experience of working with the Online retailers such as Amazon, Ocado, Tesco Online etc 
  • Commercial experience in the form of Shopper Marketing or Category/Buying 
  • Strong attention to detail 
  • Proven ability to build strong, collaborative working relationships with stakeholders across multiple functions
  • Proven history of delivering projects, both short and long term, on-time and in budget
  • Evidence of flexibility and agility to solve problems/ challenges rapidly and often creatively
  • Shows initiative - able to identify opportunities and set direction for self, ability to prioritise workload
