Position Summary

We are recruiting an exciting, brand-new opportunity for a Social Media & Community Manager to join our high performing social media team based at our Gatwick offices. Reporting directly to the Senior Social Media Manager, this role will see you work in partnership with our Nestle Professional (NP), out of home business to manage and grow our social communities. Experience of working in a similar role with a B2B focus is essential. You’ll be an integral part of NP's digital team and be the voice to some of the worlds most loved brands, think Nescafé, Garden Gourmet and more! You’d be working in an amazing team that’s always looking to drive best in class content when it comes to all things social.

A day in the life of a Social Media & Community Manager

Ultimately, you will be responsible for effectively growing our brands social media communities across multiple platforms, through the development and delivery of social content and insight that informs why we do things. Delivering world-class community engagement, supporting our overall business objectives and social content strategy to achieve great results.

 

Key responsibilities of this role will include:


•    Management of detailed monthly content plans, including keeping them up-to-date, detailing amends, and distribution to key internal stakeholders and agencies.
•    Create and deliver professional and engaging social content in conjunction with our in house Content Studio to drive brand social media equity, positive share of voice and leverage consumer engagement opportunities online.
•    Support and execute the social community strategy and direction, informed by the brand(s) objectives and insight, working closely with the wider Social Media and NP Digital and Brand teams. 
•    Source, create and curate “Always On” social content for internally managed brands, and manage approval and publication processes, including: copy, images, video, etc. 
•    Work in collaboration with creative agencies to develop the brands ‘tone of voice’ online whilst managing the day to day relationship to ensure success. 
•    Understand the changing landscape of social from a B2B perspective whilst building an effective network of content providers across the business (UK and global).
•    Champion all things social, providing recommendations and thought leadership to the wider business, particularly our Consumer Engagement Services (CES) team, Brand owners and Digital and eCommerce teams.
•    Publish content via Sprinklr, including schedule oversight across multiple brands to avoid content clashes or conflicts.
•    Analyse social performance and trends through regular social listening and reporting, presenting and distributing where required to internal stakeholders. 
•    Create and execute new ways to deliver messaging through social media content.
•    Serve as the social voice for our brand(s), responsible for developing organic campaigns on a daily basis that really add value with some focus on paid campaigns too.
•    Use LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and more to respond and engage with customers, and consumers, working with CES, and internal stakeholders to execute flawlessly.
•    Support the proactive management of observed emerging issues, working with our Corporate Communications and CES teams to drive, shape and protect our brands and reputation.
•    Staying up to date on popular or trending social topics prior to posting to ensure our content output is sensitive to emerging or potentially controversial news and events. 
•    Support the brand teams to develop capability across all things social. 

 

What will make you successful?

We are looking for a social media professional with experience in a B2B environment, ideally qualified to degree level within a creative field. You’ll have some previous work experience in this space whether that be within an agency or in-house and be able to demonstrate sound experience of the developing B2B social landscape. Ideally, you’ll also have some photography and videography skills to an intermediate level, with experience of using Photoshop, Adobe Creative-Suite and After Effects whilst being able to constantly push our brands to innovate with content through great creative ideas. You’ll also:


•    Have experience of managing social campaigns via LinkedIn including understanding best practice and using insight to support lead generation. 
•    Have a creative eye for video and design as well as being passionate about creating engaging content that delivers for our brands.   
•    Have experience of managing social communities for brands with a key focus on community engagement working across all social platforms.
•    Be familiar with trending content to understand how your brand can be involved whilst maintaining relevance to your audience.
•    Have a proven track record of creating engaging content including copy and be able to showcase your portfolio of work during the interview process.
