Position Summary

We are currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity for a Social Media & Influencer Manager to join our social media team based at our Gatwick office. Reporting directly to the Influencer & Social Media Lead, you will have the scope to be the voice of the world’s largest food & drink manufacturer with some of the worlds most loved Supplement brands, think Solgar, Nature’s Bounty, Vital Proteins, Minami and more! You’d be working in our amazing team that’s always looking to drive best in class influencer & social media campaigns.

 

A day in the life of a Social Media & Influencer Manager

Ultimately, you will be responsible for managing the communication of the brands and their social media and influencer strategies, across multiple platforms, through the development and delivery of social content and through influencer management. Delivering world-class community engagement, supporting our overall business objectives and social content and influencer strategy.

 

Key responsibilities of this role will include:

  • Work with Leads support to plan, lead & execute fully integrated annual Influencer communication strategies. 
  • Develop & enrich a strong network of Influencers & KOLs, execute 360 plans & identify opportunities to optimise performance.
  • Develop social media (Paid & Organic) plans across all relevant platforms as aligned with brand growth & communication strategies, planning & delivering the creation of engaging local content.
  • Support and execute the social community strategy and direction, informed by the business objectives and insight, working closely with the wider Social Media teams.
  • Understand the changing consumer landscape and champion the social consumer, providing insights, recommendations and thought leadership to the wider business, particularly our Consumer Engagement Services (CES) team, Brand Teams, Digital and eCommerce.
  • Instagram, TikTok and more! Responding and engaging with consumers and fans, working with Consumer services and internal stakeholders to execute flawlessly.
  • Identify and react in a timely nature to tactical opportunities.
  • Collaborate cross functionally with internal and external stakeholders to determine the most impactful content. Including working closely with our in-house Content Studio Team to brief paid and organic social content.
  • Support the corporate communications team to develop capability across all things social.
  • Leverage strong analytical skills in understanding of digital performance metrics & in communicating timely performance & evaluation of campaigns to key stakeholders.
  • Build strong relationships, working effectively & in regular collaboration with cross-functional teams from Brand Managers and wider internal & external teams, including agency partners.

 

What will make you successful

We are looking for a social media and influencer professional, ideally qualified to degree level within a creative field. You’ll have some previous work experience in this space whether that be within an agency or in-house and be able to demonstrate some experience of content creation. You’ll also be able to handle big topics and conversations with consumers constantly thinking of ways to innovate with content through great creative ideas. You’ll also:

  • Have experience of managing social communities with a key focus on community engagement working across all social platforms.
  • Proven record of managing influencers and creating long-lasting meaningful relationships.
  • Existing knowledge of the UKI celebrity/influencer industry on Instagram, YouTube and Tik Tok channels and agency network
  • Have experience with organic & paid media and boosting.
  • Be familiar with trending content to understand how Nestlé can be involved whilst maintaining relevance to our audience & tone of voice.
  • Have a proven track record of engaging with consumers including copy writing and be able to share example of your experience during the interview process.
  • Working experience in the beauty or wellness space is a plus.

And finally, you will feel comfortable to challenge the status quo, have a real passion to learn and understand the importance of building positive relationships across a wide range of stakeholders. Coupled with this you will thrive in an environment that is often ambiguous understanding how to navigate yourself and stakeholders to positive solutions.
