Job Title: Continuous Improvement Group Lead 

  

Are you looking to drive continuous improvement with standards and capability building in a new factory in Arizona? This Group Leader is a perfect position for you! The Integrated Work Group (Continuous Improvement) Lead assists in promoting and executing the Nestle Continuous Excellence (NCE) program and Total Performance Management (TPM) methodology. As the IWG Lead, you will work cross-functionally with various teams within the factory to optimize productivity and prioritize safety by implementing training, coordinating, and coaching of continuous improvement initiatives. You will lead by example and step in to provide support and coaching in the manufacturing process. In this role, you will conduct team audits, analyze processes and data, identify opportunities for improvement and share your recommendations.

WHAT YOU WILL ACCOMPLISH: 

  • Provide Manufacturing Excellence and Total Performance Management coaching to Integrated Work Groups in Food Production environment
  • Coach and teach to connect losses with standards and routines through digital tool enablers 
  • Own and implement plans and resources for Integrated Work Groups to enable them identify and eliminate losses, transform their workplace, and achieve sustainable results 
  • Understand top losses and areas for growth for assigned Integrated Work Groups (safety, quality, performance, and people) 
  • Support and lead IWG team meetings through digital facilitation 
  • Spend time on shop floor to evaluate maturity progression and identify key opportunities.

 

REQUIREMENTS: 

  • High school diploma/GED equivalent with 6 months experience in a fast-paced and performance-measured environment or Associates degree in a technical discipline
  • 3 years of direct production /maintenance experience in manufacturing environment required
  • 3-5 years of experience of project management, loss intelligence, & advanced problem solving preferred

 

SKILLS: 

  • Acquire and maintain expertise in (Data/TPM/ or Training) based on factory needs 
  • Validation of training for operators; support technical operator progression 
  • Advanced problem solving abilities and communication 
  • Manage execution of implementation plans and coordinate timeliness with project management skills
  • Strong leadership in cultural change management & managing multiple complex priorities and stakeholders
  • Ability to influence others
