Job Title: Flex Production Operator

Seeking a motivated Flex Production Operator to join our team. Responsible for the operation, adjustment, and troubleshooting of equipment in production and packaging areas of the factory. Nestlé is expanding our factory network and introducing a new manufacturing facility designed with the climate in mind. Our Glendale, Arizona production factory is a brand new, state-of-the-art facility and distribution center with cutting-edge technology and advanced systems designed with sustainability at the forefront. Innovative water recycling processes, zero waste to landfill, and fully recyclable product packaging made from food-safe materials are just some of the programs we’ve implemented to support Nestlé’s ambition for zero environmental impact by 2030.  

 

Come join our new Beverage startup factory where we will produce Coffee mate, Starbucks, and Natural Bliss coffee enhancer products. 

 

SHIFT:

The shift for this position depends on which area you work in. For this reason, we ask that you be open to both potential shifts:

  • Monday–Friday  8 hour (1st, 2nd. or 3rd) shift schedule. Overtime and weekend week may be required to meet critical deadlines.
  • 12 hour 2/2/3 shift schedule. Overtime and weekend week may be required to meet critical deadlines.

 

WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU:

  • $27.00 an hour with a shift-dependent shift differential
  • 401k with company match

  • 40 hours of Paid Sick Leave
  • Insurance eligibility begins on 31st day of employment

WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH:

  • Operate, clean, and inspect equipment
  • Complete effective and efficient changeovers
  • Ensure Regulatory Compliance and adhere to the quality standards outlined in the HACCP plan, QMS and other quality SOPs
  • Pull product samples as required and perform quality inspections on the product and packaging.
  • Perform the sanitation of the equipment and area (includes disassembly and assembly of equipment)
  • Work with peers to make recommendations on how to improve the operation to optimize production with positive contribution to all key plant indicators safety, quality, cost, and service
  • Perform daily, routine safety inspection of material handling equipment
  • Execute Preventative Maintenance and inspections on equipment

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school Diploma or GED preferred
  • 2+ years of manufacturing experience preferred

 

SKILLS:

  • Ability and willingness to operate and support a positive Nestle culture and follow established values
  • Ability to train others
  • Proactive individual that takes responsibility for their equipment, line, coworkers, and the continuous improvement of the operation
  • Able to work in a team environment where honest communication, a positive attitude, engagement, and personal accountability is expected
  • Detail oriented individual who accurately records information
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment & handle multiple tasks
