We’re expanding our factory network and introducing a new manufacturing facility designed with the climate in mind. POSITION SUMMARY:

The Utilities Maintenance Planner position is responsible for planning and scheduling the work activity of the Maintenance and Engineering team. This position prepares efficient and effective work plans for all Preventative, Predictive, Compliance Condition-Based, and Project/Backlog Maintenance work. This position works with the Technical Stores Team to ensure parts are available and ready and coordinates execution of the maintenance plan in conjunction with the production schedule.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: 
• Plan all Predictive, Preventative, Compliance and Condition Based Maintenance, in conjunction with the site’s production and operational plan, including resource (technicians, operators, parts, equipment) availability to execute activities effectively and efficiently in a coordinated way

• Help prioritize and escalate critical work as necessary
• Manage CMMS Data, ensuring that appropriate information, such as Functional Locations, Bill of Materials, and PMs, are entered into the CMMS system when a modification, improvement, or addition is made to manufacturing, utilities, and/or other support area equipment
• Monitor work order backlog; plan & schedule backlog work in a timely manner to maintain a reasonable level 
• Monitor/Audit technician data entry and quality into SAP/AMM system
• Provide support and training as required to ensure meaningful and comprehensive information is available
• Evaluate all notifications by working with the Department Manager, Maintenance Supervisors, and technicians. Convert notifications to work orders. Provide feedback to requestors as appropriate
• Monitor work order completion, backlog, and schedule compliance to ensure health of maintenance systems
• Drive continuous improvement projects related to maintenance as assigned by working with operations and engineering alike
• Participate in problem solving activities, including Breakdown Analysis (BDA)
• Generate reports and manage KPIs.

 

EXPERIENCE:
• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing or similar environment required; food or beverage industry preferred
• Experience managing a CMMS system required (e.g., SAP, Maximo, MP2, MLS)
• 3+ years of experience working as a technician or in a hands-on capacity preferred
• 2+ years of experience serving as the liaison with external vendors for the procurement of parts for maintenance activities is required; international procurement experience is a plus


EDUCATION:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
 

SKILLS:
• High level of computer expertise and competence
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Strong mechanical and electrical skills
• Able to understand and apply maintenance continuous improvement methodologies
• Strong analysis skills
• Able and willing to support a positive Nestlé culture and follow established values
• Detail oriented with emphasis on data accuracy
• Able to work off-shifts, weekends and extended shifts (i.e. 10 hrs., 12 hrs.)
• Strong conflict management skills
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
