Position Summary: Nestlé USA is seeking a passionate and driven individual to join our team as a Customer Account Manager for Meijer. In this role, you will be the primary contact and liaison for a specified category for Meijer, driving category growth and achieving annual sales and commercial spend targets. You will be deeply involved in the activation of Category Roadmaps and the development and activation of customer-specific Category Business Plans to achieve the 4P objectives.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Commercial Development Organization to develop customer-specific category plans anchored in category growth drivers.
  • Present and launch new item plans and develop initial field forecasts.
  • Develop customer promotion plans and perform bottom-up builds of Integrated Customer and Category Plans using the appropriate NSD Planning System.
  • Achieve annual sales and trade targets through effective selling and negotiation.
  • Continuously improve forecast accuracy and sales performance targets.
  • Interact frequently with customers to implement the annual plan, drive execution, gain distribution on new and d-build items, and activate customer category strategies.
  • Identify gaps between customer plans and feedback, proposing resolutions to close these gaps.
  • Ensure achievement of agreed customer targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) such as category growth, sales, customer service, and in-stock levels.
  • Present Customer Category Plans and supporting Implementation Calendars to customers via joint business planning (JBP).
  • Monitor, review, and drive execution of customer category plans.
  • Drive category growth and exceed high performance targets.
  • Develop category account management skills in collaboration with the CAA (where applicable).
