As an armed, part-time, Purina Security Associate, you will support Purina Farms in matters pertaining to physical security and guarding operations for Purina special events and club shows (animal club). You’ll maintain order and safety as you work alongside a robust team ensuring the protection of campus personnel, assets, and operations.

• Support the Purina Farms Site Security Manager with risk mitigation in relation to Purina special events
• Support security planning which may include parking plans, venue space access, and security support for overnight guests and pets
• Acts as a first responder in security emergencies
• Liaison with Law Enforcement, upon direction of the Purina Farms Security Manager, to remedy high risk security events
• Supports security staffing for off-site events and key personnel as needed

Requirements

• Associate degree or 4+ years of related work experience
• 3+ years of verifiable work experience in law enforcement
• Current POST license required (Police Office Standards and Training) OR Federal equivalent
• Ability to obtain a Missouri Corporate Security License through the MO Department of Public Safety
• Completion of company and third-party licensing authority’s background investigation, psychological assessment, and drug screening

• Bachelor’s Degree is preferred
• Must be willing to work weekends

The approximate hourly pay for this position is $50.00. Please note that the pay provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
