Position Snapshot

Position Summary

Responsible for  implementation of regulatory processes to ensure delivery of safe and compliant products in the Chinese market and to coordinate, compile and submit registration dossiers for medical nutrition products in the Vitaflo range.  
Expert responsible for tracking and advising on the impact of changes of  legislation in Chinese market on the Vitaflo portfolio and implementation of any new regulations.  Also for advising on the impact and management of changes to the product range with regard to registration status and supporting the manufacturing organisation to conduct successful site audits.
Act as Regulatory business partner to the Vitaflo Sales/Marketing and Medical representatives, investigating new routes to market for Vitaflo products.
Work with the Chinese regulatory authorities either directly or via industry association to advocate for the FSMP category, with specific reference to Vitaflo products, and to determine registration requirements and feasibility for the Vitaflo range.

What will make you successful

Qualifications
A degree or equivalent higher education qualification in a relevant life science.  Nutritional science background or degree may be an advantage but is not essential.

Experiences
- At least 5 years experience working in regulatory affairs or a related function (eg R&D)  within the food, food supplement or specialist food industry in China.
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of the Chinese regulatory framework for foods and specifically for foods for special medical purposes to enable a strong individual contribution and also guidance, mentoring and training of other members of the Chinese Vitaflo team.
- Experience of working in a multidisciplinary team environment - successfully lead the regulatory activities in a new product launch.
- Experience of developing communications (position statements/Q&As) for external use.
- Experience of working  with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficient in both Mandarin and English languages.
