Demand Analyst

 

Role Objective

  • The Demand Analyst’s objective is to support the Demand Planning community to improve and excel in DP processes.

  • The Demand Analyst is responsible for generating all demand-related performance reports and helping demand scientists in forecast generation by providing insights on pockets that need improvement.


Key Responsibilities

  • Generate all demand planning related reports and metrics that support improvement of the statistical forecast.

  • Establish and monitor standard key performance indicators across demand planning (e.g., forecast accuracy, bias, OSF freshness, etc.).

  • Foster collaboration between demand planners and demand planning data scientists.

  • Continuously review and optimize demand planning processes to eliminate inefficiencies, reduce manual intervention, and automate tasks wherever possible.

  • Share the generated statistical forecast and demand sensing forecast with demand planners, along with key highlights and watch-out items.

  • Compare the statistical forecast and the signed-off demand plan to identify the enrichment ratio from the market based on the segmentation methodology (e.g., animal farm).

  • Evaluate and lead the implementation of demand planning software and tools to streamline and enhance demand planning processes.

  • Provide training and mentorship to the demand planning community to enhance their skills and expertise.

Academic Background

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, or Data Science

Experience

  • 2+ years of experience in demand planning

  • 2+ years of experience in data analysis and reporting using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar

  • 2+ years of experience in project management
