Medical Affairs Manager- North Branch

About the Role

We are looking for a Medical Scientific Affairs professional to support and strengthen medical affairs activities across the North region. The role will help build credible scientific engagement with healthcare professionals, key opinion leaders and regulatory stakeholders through medical education, scientific events and timely responses to medical queries. The position will also provide scientific support to regional and brand initiatives, guide nutrition field teams, contribute to medical training and ensure that activities comply with applicable regulations, industry codes and internal standards. The role involves travel across North India for medical engagements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver scientific activities, including symposia, conferences, continuing medical education programmes and speaker-led sessions, in accordance with defined procedures and guidelines.
  • Develop high-quality scientific presentations, educational materials, handouts and other content for healthcare professional engagements.
  • Build strong scientific relationships with healthcare professionals and key opinion leaders through field visits, accompanied calls and evidence-based interactions.
  • Provide accurate, timely and value-added responses to medical and scientific queries received from healthcare professionals, field teams, patient groups and relevant authorities.
  • Partner with brand and cross-functional teams to provide scientific insights, support appropriate product positioning and contribute to current and future medical strategies.
  • Support regional medical affairs projects and facilitate online and in-person medical engagements across the North region.
  • Train and continuously enhance the scientific and nutrition knowledge of field force, marketing and training teams through effective learning programmes and refresher sessions.
  • Review medical and scientific materials and activities to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, industry codes and organizational guidelines.
  • Coordinate closely with medical, commercial, training and field teams to support planned and routine medical affairs activities.

Experience & Education Qualification

Education: MBBS qualification

Experience:

  • Minimum 1 to 3 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Experience in infant nutrition, pediatrics, medical affairs, medical advisory or a related healthcare segment is preferred.
  • Prior exposure to scientific events, healthcare professional engagement, medical education or field-based medical activities would be advantageous.
