Position – Business Development Officer/Executive – Ready To Drink  

HQ Location- Jaipur, Rajasthan  

Role/Market Scope- Rajasthan & Haryan  

Reporting to – Regional Sales Head & Category Head  

 

Objective  

Lead the channel and commercial expansion of Nestlé Ready-to-Drink (RTD) beverage portfolio at Regional level. Responsible for strategy execution with trade partners, and drive RTD product penetration and profitability through innovative go-to-market plans. 

 

Channel Strategy & Business Development 

  • Define and execute RTD channel strategy—whether modern trade, general trade, HORECA for long-term sustainable growth 

  • Identify and prioritize new channel opportunities; develop tailored channel plans aligned with consumer and category insights.  

Distribution & RoutetoMarket 

  • Expand and optimize RTD distribution footprint through negotiation and coordination with distributors, wholesalers, and field teams.  

  • Implement effective merchandising and in-store strategies in collaboration with category , field sales and trade teams.  

Customer & Stakeholder Management 

  • Build strong relationships with key accounts (retailers, e-tailers, distributors), presenting fact-based selling proposals and managing commercial negotiations.  

  • Collaborate internally with marketing, supply chain, and finance to execute channel initiatives successfully. 

Data-Driven Insights & Analysis 

  • Gather market, consumer, and trade data to derive actionable insights, inform channel strategies, and track performance against KPIs.  

  • Evaluate promotions and campaigns, assessing effectiveness and making data-led recommendations. 

CrossFunctional stakeholder  

  • Partner with business team, field sales officers, distributors, channel category, supply chain team to align on execution on product launches, activations, and trade programs. 

  • Guide & lead field sales teams to get the plans execute on defined timelines 

  • Handling RTD secondary sales force for strong execution  

 

Required Qualifications 

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related fields; MBA preferred. 

  • Experience: 3–7 years in FMCG sales, trade or RTD/beverage channels.  

 

Core Competencies 

  • Channel development, excellent negotiation and customer relationship skills 

  • Analytical thinking and market insight generation 

  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive results through matrix teams
