Line Technician

Nestle Gympie Factory are seeking a Line Technician (Mechanical) to perform maintenance inspection/repair/overhaul, work orders and attending to operational issues/failures.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

·Relevant trade qualifications (Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade) & developed technical aptitude.

·Strong mechanical fault-finding ability on high-speed machinery.

·Physical capability for manual handling.

·A focus on continuous improvement and structured problem solving.

·Self-motivated with a proven ability to work with minimum supervision.

·Comprehensive numeracy, literacy, and communication skills.

·An ability to multi-task and deliver repeatable accurate results.

·A reliable team player and the ability to be flexible and adapt at short notice.

·Competent in the use of MS Office suite of Programs: and

·Intermediate working skillset in SAP.

Desirable Criteria:

·Leadership and team management experience

·Welding and light fabrication experience

·Confined Space licence

·Safe working at height experience/license

·Experience in Fill and Packing machinery.
